Maybe it’s my astigmatism, coz I’m used to “seeing” double & shadows. Maybe it’s my old eyes. But I can barely even notice that. I had to move my phone around at different angles to even see anything. We arrive Thursday. Maybe I’ll feel different after seeing it in person. But from that picture, it’s total non issue for me.

The "Disney's Fastpass + Entrance" is so glaringly obvious to me. I can live with the pink Small World sticker, but still being able to see the FP+ is silly. Disney Parks got their reputation by extraordinary attention to even the most minute details. It's strange to me to see people say "details don't matter to me." I don't go to theme parks at all. I don't like them. But I adore Disney parks because of the pristine attention to detail.

Thanks! And I understand everyone has different things that are important or disappointing. I can’t do roller coasters or simulator rides. I’m personally very annoyed to lose Ellen’s ride (that I could enjoy) for Guardians roller coaster (that I will never ride). I was looking forward to that Mary Poppins attraction & thought it might make up for it. But, but that’s gone now. I hope this is all temporary and we’ll all get the Disney we fell in love with back someday.

Scrims never bother me. Never, ever. I do prefer when scrims blend in with the environment, but it's fine. But this is not a temporary fix. This is permanent. This is Six Flags levels of Show, and Show is a Key.

And honestly, right now I could stay at one of the most exclusive hotels in Venice for the price of a Disney hotel. Elite prices should have elite EVERYTHING. It's funny, I've been a Disney defender on everything until recently. I'm still going. I'm still paying. I still have Boo Bash tickets. But this looks stupid and lazy.

How do we know this is permanent? Signs don't just make themselves, and they have a lot of signs they have to re-do that do cost money. I'm pretty sure they'll have a better option in place eventually, but this is a faster and more cost effective options in the meantime. Getting angry over assumptions is a waste of emotion..

Sigh. I'm going to bow out here because literally there is no anger, and the issue of being "outraged" "angry" and "mad" has been addressed repeatedly through this thread. I'm angry because my brother died a year ago this weekend due completely needless causes, not because this sign is lame. I find the sign lazy and hope that it is only temporary. It's an observation. That's all. I can't believe how many people on here equate a lack of complete happiness and contentedness with *anger.* I have much, much bigger fish to fry in the anger department.

I love Disney and spend way too much there. I'm beyond excited for Boo Bash. I praise Disney when it is good, I make observations when I think they could do better. I think they could have done better here and I think this is Six Flags-y. That is all. I don't know how to close a thread, but if a mod could do that, that would be great. This is clearly not a forum where people like to casually discuss where Disney is great and where it falls down.

I would’ve never noticed that in a million years. Maybe someone who visits WDW more frequently than me would observe things like that, but I’m too busy with watching wild kiddos to even know those signs existed!

Thank you. It is. We were supposed to go to WDW and hit all of the bars together in Dec. 2020. I am blessed with amazing good memories, though. My first Disney trip was when he was little and I was in college. I'm going to have one drink for me and one for him at Oga's. He would have LOVED Oga's.

Talking about Disney details is really an escape. I am genuinely, truly confused by people who think that people who find these signs lacking are angry. Who doesn't love chit chatting about all things Disney, big and small, awesome and disappointing?

Spot on. And even if that were true, Disney's vaunted Imagineering team should be able to fix something like this pretty easily.

My husband's company used to work at Disney before they got sick of dealing with the Imagineers, who could imagine all sorts of things that couldn't actually be built.
