The Superfamily February 2009!! We're taking on the world!! MAJOR UPDATE 1/7

oh ok ..
So how do you buy your tickets , from disney ? or another place ?
I love the ET ride its a must ride at our house when we go ...

its so cool that you're going 2 times to disney this year lucky girl ...:thumbsup2

The state sells discount tickets so I can buy them from them. But, I usually just buy them from the Disney ticket website. My work has good deals, but you have to buy more than a 4 day ticket and we haven't been there that long in a long time!!!

I am really excited about going 2 times. Were gonna try for another baby later this year so we more than likely won't be going next year for our 10 annivesary, but you never know!;)

Hey girlie girl , So how did it go? did they get it out today ?
:surfweb:

I went good! I of course, was the emotional basketcase! They told us they couldn't numb it and I totally blocked out everything they were saying after that because all I could hear was, "Its gonna hurt, hurt, hurt!!!" So, Chad took her into the microscope room and I took the keys and got the car from the parking deck and picked them up at the patient drop off. She said she cried when she laid on the table, the nurse had to hold her head down! Then they just pushed it up from underneath and then grabbed it and he said she was fine! Only cried for a second! The poor thing!:sad1:

oh that would suck ..
when we move back in Jan, poor Jason will be working downtown again sitting in that nice traffic  ...:confused3

Oh man! I hate that for him!! Maybe he can find some good back roads!

hopefully you're either already home or at least on your way. i hope you're not still sitting in traffic considering it's 7:30, but in atlanta you never know!!!

We actually got home in pretty good time! We hit traffic at 285/75. Then of course, right before we got to Barrett Pkwy it was terrible!!!!!! There is no way I could do that everyday!!

I am so glad that Hollie's ordeal is over now and that it wasn't too bad! Thank goodness traffic wasn't too bad coming home, either! :thumbsup2

Thank you!!!!! Me too, I have threatened her if she does it again but I think she learned her lesson!:thumbsup2

Glad to hear Hollie is ok!!!

Thank you so much!:goodvibes

So why did she put the bead in her ear?

I dont' have a clue!! I figured out what it was after they got it out. We went to the Shrine Circus in April and she got her this baton that had balls on each end that when you shook, it made noises. It busted after she had it! We vacumed those beads up in the living room and the hallway and her room! I just hope it wasn't in her ear that long! I know that later on when I would change her sheets on her bed I would find 1 about every week doing that. I am really hoping that maybe if was in her bed and when she pulled everything off the bed, maybe it was underneath something. I just don't have a clue why! But, I do know she learned her lesson! She told us on the way home that you shouldn't stick things in your ears because they doctors stick things in there to pull them out and it really bothers you when they stick somthing in your ear!!:rotfl2:
She has this fascination with earrings right now, so I thought that maybe she thought she was putting in an earring and maybe that was why she did it:confused3

YAY- Hollies home and all went well (for the most part).:cool1:

I HATE ATL...we drive thru it ever year going to Disney and I am ALWAYs a nervous wreak when we go thru it- I definitly need a xanex for that ride!

No joke!!! I hate driving thu it and I hate when Chad drives thru it! He makes me so nervous and he just gets ill!!! When we go down, were taking my moms van and I just hope and pray she sleeps some of the way down there as well as Hollie does because he will make her a nervous wreck!! Then she and I will both be taking a xanex!!! :lmao:

Glad to hear that Hollie survived the great bead invasion. Poor thing. I hate it when Drs have to hold our kids down to do what they need to do. It breaks my heart. This will make for good story telling later.:rotfl:

I know, right! I had to leave the room. I think I cry more than she does!!:lmao:

yeah its out of the ear, sounds like a reason to plan another disney trip and go back...have to celebrate.

I can't believe she did that! Oh, well, at least its out and she's all better now!:goodvibes

Speaking of Hollie, when I picked her up from the sitters Friday, she informed me that she saw something in her ear. I looked and looked and couldn't find anything....until later that night. I tried and tried to call the on-call nurse and never got anyone. I was so mad!!!
THank goodness her doctors office is open on Saturdays, so I took her there first thing. They flushed her ear with water and it wouldn't budge. Then the doc tried to stick this thing in her ear and get behind the bead and pull it out. It started to hurt her so he stopped. So, I have to take her to the ENT tomorrow because they can actually numb her ear canal so they can pull it out. But, my mom actually stuck a nose sucker (from when she was a baby!) in her ear and actually pulled it up closer to the entrance. I looked at it tonight and they should definately get it out tomorrow no problems. If I knew she would stay still, I would stick some tweezers in there and grab it, but I am not a professional so I am not attempting it!

oh girl I totally missed this a few days ago. I'm so sorry :sad2: I see everyone's responses that she is okay now though so I'm glad for that but what an ordeal!    for you and Hollie!!

soooo glad shes doing better....

Thank you!! I swear, I am going through everything in her bedroom and playroom and if it can fit in her ear, nose, or mouth IT IS ONE!!!:lmao:

I can't believe she did that! Oh, well, at least its out and she's all better now!:goodvibes

Me either!!!!! She kept telling us, "Its all better now! Don't touch my ear!" before they took it out! The little booger!:)

Hmmm, that is a great idea!! Actually, our 10 year anniversary is next year and I have told Chad about this certain guy on here who is surprising his wife with a trip and I hinted and hinted at him that maybe he should do it! Then I asked him if he would want to take Hollie or leave her with my parents and he said......

"We might have to take her, I don't know if I can leave her that long!" :lmao:

these are the pictures I decided for my menu!!!

Maybe the menu should be called, "The many different hairstyles and faces of Heather!!" :lmao:

I know some of them are goofy, but I thought those would be cute!!!
