The Sopranos final episodes (SPOILERS!!!)

Must not read spoilers....must not read spoilers!

I'll revisit this thread after I see it tomorrow!

:rotfl2:

I started to highlight the spoiler, and then thought "Oh no! What am I doing???" and quit. I'm so tempted!

I can't believe I've resisted reading the spoilers. :cool1:

I really hope they pull all the stops out for this last season. I think after the second season, it just hasn't been the same for me, but I've hung in there.

I agree with CANTW8 to have Anthony killed off. I really can't stand him and he serves no purpose on that show, except to irritate me.

That would be something if Carmela finds Adrianna's body. I also thought Adrianna was still alive, but I think that's wishful thinking on my part.

Well, 2 hours to go. Can't wait!

I think Silvio is too good of a soldier to have not killed Adrianna. He does the job he's given.

I'm resisting the spoilers to! I've waited this long I can wait another 90 minutes.
If I had to guess I think Tony may end up the run going to jail, fits the story and paves the way for more episodes if he finds out like a lot of stars that the grass isn't greener on the other side-think McClean Stevens if you need an example-"I'm going to be a big star I don't need MASH"!!

Another prediction of my husband's that I've mentioned before is that Paulie's real Dad is Russ Fagoli<sp>....the uppity friend of Carm's parents.

Time will tell....:)

Or David Caruso from NYPD Blue-remember his "movie career"? Now he's acting badly in CSI Miami....

They shot part of the last episode a few weeks ago at a gas station that is on my way to the office. They're coming back tomorrow to do some "clean up shots"-traffic will be a MESS again. Everyone rubbernecks going by thinking they're going to see Tony whack somebody or something...

Blech, what a disappointment. :sad2:

Ooops....I was mistaken about Christopher's call. Oh well.....Tony still hung up on him.

I only saw the episode once and that was two days before I wrote the summary. When I finished watching it, I thought....OK, where are they going with all this?

I don't know, I enjoyed it!

I think it set the foundation for a possible takeover... or something? :confused3

Tony has to die in the end...
I think so, too. I don't watch anymore, but DH is watching now - seeing it through to the end, I guess.

I always thought the show would end with Tony dying and still can't see any other ending. And I liked Tony a lot. He's kind of cute, too, with his bad self. :)

I didn't think it was a great episode, but I wasn't bored, either. Tony sure is making a lot of enemies within his "family".

Is thought it was interesting, but I too am wondering what it all will lead to.

So which kid is going to drown-Bobby's little girl or AJ's girlfriends son? They wouldn't have spent time with that story if something wasn't going to happen. I kept waiting for it and it never came. Better than last year but still a little slow.

My thoughts exactly!

And I agree with some previous posters, it was a little slow, but thank goodness it wasnt a dream sequence.......

or was it:confused3

I thought last season's first episode was much better, what with Tony getting shot by Uncle Junior and all.

I liked the "bonding" moments with the four of them playing Monopoly and having one two many, but it was just too slow for me, other than when Tony and Bobby got into it.

I really thought Tony was taking Bobby out to pasture when they went off to conduct business.

It's setting Bobby up for more responsibility, obviously.

It wasn't the most thrilling episodes, but it problably set the foundation for things to come. When Tony and Bobby were driving in the car, I had flash-backs of Adrianna getting wacked!

Oh gosh. When is the last episode supposed to air? We'll be in WDW/DCL 5/27-6/3. I hope we don't miss the last episode!

I thought about a kid drowning and that's what we wre meant to think. The friends showing up for AJ's party, obviously planning to swim and later with Nica in the lake and Janice's freak-out.

What struck me about Tony mentioning that story was the way it was done. There they all were enjoying themselves with pleasant conversation and he brings up (seemingly out of the blue) the drowning story. It reminded me of Livia and the way she would do that.....bring up stories about children dying tragically, often at their mother's hands. Even though the drowning was an accident, I thought of her just the same.

And yeah.....when Tony veered off the road, presumably to let Bobby pee, I thought...Uh-oh, that's how Adrianna bought it.

Did anyone else thing Bobby face was more swollen when they met with the Canadians than before? I thought that maybe Tony pulled over somewhere and slapped him around a bit.

I haven't read any spoilers but I thought that Chase was setting up an ending in which Tony is in jail, Bobby is either dead or in prison for murder and Janice is the new Boss.

Janice is the new Livia, Tony and Janice's mother. And Janice is raising her daughter the same passive-aggressive way she was raised.

I thought the funniest part of the episode was that Tony didn't want anyone to think the Soprano's were dysfunctional.....LOLOL. They define the word dysfunctional.:)

MsA

Oh Janice would make a great boss. She is so ruthless! Remember how she wacked her boyfriend? Was his name Eddie? I forgot now but I remember he was Adrianna's Uncle.
