The Sopranos final episodes (SPOILERS!!!)

Artie Bucco is still around. He was in a funk for a while there, a newer restaurant opened that was taking all of his business away.

He killed a rabbit in his garden and he brought it into the restaurant (just in case he ran out of ingredients--??) which he did. A couple came in and all he had was the rabbit. He got out his grandfather's old recipes and started cooking up a storm. Looks like it might lead to him getting his groove back.

....unless she's not really dead! We didn't exactly see a body, did we?

Wouldn't it be something if Adrianna isn't dead? Then she walks in,shots Christopher, Tony sees this and dies of a heart attack! Anthony gets a grip and runs the "family" ,Carmela is like the Livia character and Meadow turns into the slutty sister like what's her name.

The sister Janice who is married to Bobby?

I think Adrianna is definitely dead. For a while there, I thought the area where Carmella is building her spec house looked a lot like the area Silvio took Adrianna to before he wacked her. I thought maybe one of the workers or Carm herself would find the bones and it would spiral out of control for her from there.

OOHHH,then wouldn't it be cool (I mean in a sad kinda way)if they killed Adrianna on Carmellla's lot? Then they find Adrianna's body while building the spec house. Carmella gets pissed and kills Tony.

I can't help but think they won't wack Tony. He's the main character and the big draw for that show. I also think they want to leave him around in case David Chase decides to revive it, or make a Sopranos movie. I read that James Gandolfini is more than ready to move on from his role of "T", but in a few years when the mortagage is due and he isn't getting any big offers, he might decide that a movie or whatever isn't such a bad idea!

But who knows.....it'll be interesting to see who makes it and who doesn't, that's for sure!

Blondie, you bring up a good point. Was it James Gandolfini who wanted the series to end because of his movie career? If it was,I think he needs to rethink his decision. Because....what movie career? All of his projects have tanked for good reason-they stunk. He might be a one shot wonder and he would do well to hold on to his one shot.

the long breaks and the last season has put a damper on it for me, but the only way it could end is Tony gets killed

awww, Pop..don't say that:guilty: Tony's really a good guy, just a little misguided:confused3 I'd like to see Tony Junior whacked, that punk gets on my nerves:rolleyes: and Janice, what an annoying wench:rolleyes1

Can't wait. I have seen the first episode, thanks to Chris finding it on the Web. Don't ask me how....it was a weird file that we couldn't download. He set it up on my PC and I watched it. I've also heard some other spoilers, which are posted below. Highlight the area to read.

Episode begins with a flashback to 2004 when Tony was at Johnny Sac's house and the Feds came. He ran and tossed the gun in the snow. Apparently, a 16 y/o kid saw it and ran and retrieved the gun. He shot it and played with it over the next two years. Next we see the Soprano house and Star Ledger being delivered. The local cops show up and arrest Tony on a weapons charge....hollow point bullets. In court, Tony's lawyer argues that the kid got in trouble and was just pinning it on Tony. The Feds are mad that the locals are horning in and the case is eventually dropped by the local cops. By the end of the episode, Tony's relief is short-lived because the Feds are taking it up into their RICO case.

Most of the episode is centered around Bobby and Janice at a lake house near the Canadian border. Bobby inherited it from his Dad. Tony and Carmela go up to celebrate Tony's 47th birthday. Everything goes so well....real family harmony and beautiful scenery. Tony and Bobby go boating and discuss a business meeting they have with some Canadians, who turn out to be pharmaceutical smugglers to the US. Tony and Bobby have a bonding moment together, where Tony talks about losing confidence in Christopher and he promises Bobby a new money-making project, for which Bobby is grateful. They also talk about how Bobby has never killed anyone. Janice and Carmela are back at the house talking about family dynamics and dysfunction. The looks on Carmela's face are priceless.

Later that night, the Birthday party begins.....gifts, karaoke and Monopoly are enjoyed. (Carmela should try out for AI.) The Monopoly game is where all the harmony culminates and ends. Everyone's drinking and old stories are shared.....which is hilarious. Tony pulls his usual crap by needling Janice. She doesn't flip out though. Bobby chides Tony for the insult and Tony mumbles an apology. Then he starts again....subtly and Bobby sucker-punches him. Big fight with screaming by the ladies. Bobby wins and Tony slinks away. Everyone goes to bed. The next morning, there is tension, especially for Tony and Carmela. Tony can't let it go, though Bobby and Janice have. He feels bested and that won't do and he keeps bringing it up with excuses about the shooting weakening him....sucker-punch, etc. Nobody cares but him.

Later that day, Tony and Bobby have an awkward ride to Canada for their meeting. Back at the house, Carm and Janice discuss things more and Carmela rips into Janice a little. After her mini-tirade, Carm storms off leaving Janice to turn in her chair and ask,"What did I do?" (Shades of Livia!) In Canada, Tony and Bobby reach a deal on the drugs and get the price lowered by promising to intervene in a personal matter. A relative of one of them (or something like that) is having a custody dispute with an ex. Bobby will have to whack the troublesome ex. Tony and ****y return to the lake house and Tony and Carm leave. Bobby immediately leaves to do the job. He tracks the guy down to a laundromat and shoots him there.

Other tidbits from the episode:
Meadow is back home from CA and living home studying to be a pediatrician.
Phil gets out of the hospital and doesn't seem fond of his guys ripping on Tony. (Remember how that ended with the hospital scene and the apparent truce?)
AJ lives part-time with Blanca and her little Hector. While Tony and Carmela are gone, they do it in their bed and have a party at the house. AJ says to remember to wash the sheets.....EWW!
Sometime during the episode, Christopher calls Tony at the lake and offers to come up. Tony is short with him and hangs up on him....it seemed to me.

Another spoiler I heard is that Johnny Sac dies in the second episode from cancer.

Must not read spoilers....must not read spoilers!

I'll revisit this thread after I see it tomorrow!

I think Gandolfini is an excellent actor, but he IS Tony Soprano. It'll be hard for people to see him as anything else (except for people who aren't familiar with the Sopranos.)

It's the same with David Duchovny in my opinion, he'll always be Fox Mulder from the X-Files.

Well, "Joey" got cancelled so you never know.:coffee:

I'm so bored with Christopher and his crap.......mousy wife and drug-addict girlfriend. That kid of his should be born by now or very soon.

I'm trying to resist the spoilers too :headache:

Was it better than last season's opener?

everything I've read says there's nine episodes instead of eight.

I'm really going to miss the show. Tony Soprano is the best (not animated...that would be Homer Simpson:) ) character to ever make it to a television screen.

you hate and detest him because he's evil, then have empathy for him when he's in crisis. the show is genius when it comes to conflict-inward and outward.

Tony has to die in the end, and i'm saddened by that. that's what makes it such a great show.

Is everybody getting ready?

Oops, I think it's on at 9pm EST.
