The Sopranos final episodes (SPOILERS!!!)

I just found last nights episode confusing, but now after reading the forum here, alot has been cleared up. They only have 5 episodes left, I hope they are alot better than last nights. The best part for me though is just watching Edie Falcos acting (when her and Tony were having the fight in their hallway) she is a really great actress. Nancy Sinatra looked a bit strange on the show too last night, I just dont know if it was too much makeup or not.

I thought the same thing about Nancy Sinatra. It's not the make up, it's the plastic surgery that gave her that creepy look. She has the same weird look that Priscilla Presley does. Take a look at this photo below and you can see the similarities. Plastic surgery is a horror if it's done too much or incorrectly, IMO.

I agree about Edie Falco, it's worth watching if not just for her. She's a wonderful actress, probably the best the show has to offer!

In regards to Vito's family, I think it was a time waster, nothing more.

"Are you ronesome tonight?"

Love that photo. Nancy looked weird. I sat there staring at the TV wondering who that was and then Phil mentioned her name. So she and her brother have guest-starred on The Sopranos.

I figured the Vito Jr. thing was to highlight Tony's money problems and give something for him to be mad at Phil over. As for Vito Jr, we have substituted an 'H" for the 'P' in his last name. That poor kid looked awful in that goth make-up. I was feeling for the actor.

According to the sites Renatta had a stroke. I think what it means is that it is all getting to Tony. His life is crumpling arround him. He is losing money foolishly and maybe paronid. Dr Melfi said that he may have to see another shrink if he keeps missing appintments.

When Hesh found Renatta dead my first thoughts were "Tony had her killed". Did anyone think this as well? I too wondered why they chose to run an episode where Tony is losing control of his gambling:confused3 :confused3 Maybe this is a just a beginning of the end for him?? Who knows!!

Also remember all the shots of the immigrants in the street as he was riding through town....recognizing former business contacts and probably thinking of the warning from Agent Harris. Maybe something will happen and that's how it will end for some characters on the show.

We are the most confused with Hesh's girlfriend - did Tony kill her? Did he bring the money at the and as kind of a "Screw you look what happens when you mess with me take your stupid money" gesture?

One special request from me for the last season:

BRING BACK FURIO FROM ITALY!!!!

I agree, have Furio come back to the states to profess his love for Carmella. Then he would have to kill Tony and that is how the show ends.

Don't we have 6 episodes left? I thought we've seen 3 weeks and there is 9 episodes total?

Edie is my favorite on the show, I especially loved her performance in the episode of "White Caps" where she and Tony are fighting about Furio.....she was brilliant!!

I don't think Blanca is pregnant, I think she's done now.

If the spec house has issues with the lumber and she was worried because it was raining, how can she have closed on the house?? Did it pass inspection? I'll have to watch this again too...

I can't believe Vito's wife would ask for $100K from Tony. I also can't believe she'd allow Tony to have her son removed from his house in the middle of the night like that without warning or goodbyes/explanations.

Yeah I was wondering when I saw that last night if Tony was going to parlay that information into something that saves his *** with the FBI. He had been told if he ever heard of some information about possible terrorist activities to let the FBI know and they would be extremely grateful.

Sharp! I hadn't thought of that.

I don't think she's out of the show yet, looking at the previews for next week. I really think I saw her in next week's preview. Did anyone else see that?

Totally o.t. here, but what the heck happened to Elvis's ex-wife? She looks like the Joker! She must use Michael Jackson's plastic surgeon!

After the break-up, I'm guessing she's not FBI.

The one thing that I did agree with Tony about was that Phil L. should have been the one to kick in with the $100K for Marie. She's his cousin after all and he was the one who had Vito killed. I thought that the young actor who played Little V did a terrific job last night.

I was really surprised about the way Tony was acting toward Hesh. He's been a father figure to Tony over the years. Neither a borrower or a lender be, I guess.

I was surprised at that too. I always thought Tony and Hesh had a great relationship. :confused3

Nothing is justs filler here - I think the theme of the show was - "nobody respects a mafia boss anymore".

AJs girlfriend - not impressed enough to stay around - I interpreted the "looks" she gives the family as "OMG these people are losers" She gave them all the time - at the movie preview, at dinner - when Tony says something ignorant... Hesh is dissing him for being a cheapskate - the psychiatrist says she's not putting up with his ways anymore - Vito's son - in the old days, a boss could sure scare a kid straight, but these days they can't even make a punk 14 year old listen to them. All of his captains are rolling their eyes behind him about the gambling. And how about how they used Silvio to set up that murder. Nobody is respecting that family any more.

I think it's all part of watching the Mafia go down the tubes.

I'm thinking that Vito,Jr. will have something tragic happen while he's at camp. Then either he or his mom will retaliate by killing Tony.

This episode just proves and shows how twisted and evil Tony Soprano really is. Hesh was a long time friend/confidant of Tony's father and also a friend of Tony as well. Yet look at all the crap he made Hesh have to go through to get his money. Tony acted like he was the one getting taken advantage of by giving Hesh his money back and started with the anti semitic remarks against Hesh.. Did you see the look on Tony's face in his Escalade when they were leaving Hesh's house? Tony was thinking about stiffing him and to do that, Hesh would be clipped. It just shows that Tony Soprano has no loyalty and anyone who does business with him, is in danger of losing their family members, their lively hood, or worse yet, their life. He screws everyone and doesn't seem to have any compassion what so ever. Vito Jr. was a troubled kid, but no one, especially a kid deserves to be dragged off in the night like that by total strangers and watch your mom stand by helpless and let it happen. I could only imagine the sheer terror that kid felt and what they probably did to him. How Tony could arrange and pay for that, then be able to sleep at night is just a sign of how evil he really is.

Everyone ready for another episode?

Everyone ready for another episode?

ack. and ack. that's really all I can say at this point. LOL.

ETA: I think this might have been the best episode of the season - both halves. LOL

I can't believe there are only 4 shows left :/
