OK...the acid on the foot bothered me. Otherwise, I loved the episode! When we saw the look on Paulie's face as he was driving to Chris's house, we were rolling! The lawn scene was HILARIOUS! Classic Paulie!

Paulie just needs to die, he is such a creep what he said about Christophers daughter working at the Bing when she gets older. I am surprised Chris just didnt whip out his gun right then and there and shoot him in the head! I loved the family moment at the table with Tony, Carmella, AJ and Meadow, it was like the only peacful moment that family has had together in years. I just have a question about the previews for next weeks episode. I saw it so quickly, but was Tony in bed with someone with dark hair? Was it Dr. Melfi?

I have since adjusted my TiVo to end the show taping a minute later so hopefully I won't miss it again next week.

I think they were trying to throw us off with that because I was also curious about who Tony was laying with, so I rewound it and paused on that picture. It was Meadow. Kinda wierd.

I also thought Christopher was going to whip out his gun and shoot Paulie right there on the spot when Paulie was saying those cruel things to him. I think Christopher took it out on the writer instead.

Last night was classic old school Sopranos.

I still see something happening to A.J. though, some unfortunate event due to his alcohol binging or just being careless.

The whole power struggle w/Christopher & paulie is gonna end baaaad I tell ya! It goes all the way back to when he was doing the touchy feely thing w/Adriana's undies (remember that?)
Now that Christopher is back drinking, I think he is gonna be the the clincher in the end...he's gonna go into the Bing one day and whack em all starting with Paulie, then Tony, then whoever else is still standing.
Does Janice annoy the heck out of everybody or is it just me? Every time stuff is calm, she opens her mouth and starts some fight with her hidden insulting comments.

Can someone fill me in on something from last season? I must have dozed off or missed an episode b/c I have no recollection of Meadow & Finn breaking up and why????

You could find the next time the episode is going to be on this week, and set the Tivo manually by channel & time, to record the last 10 minutes of the show, to catch the previews, if you're interested in seeing them.

Are you sure it was her? I went through it in slow motion and thought it looked like a hispanic girl, but since Meadow is darker, it could have been.

I also noticed that Tony looks beat up in one frame. He's got read splotches on his face. The truck that's swerving all over the road is Tony's.

I don't think it's Meadow, either. It looks as if the woman in question is holding a cigarette. And it just looks too cozy to be a fauther/daughter scene. KWIM?

I'm thinking that it's AJ's "fiance". And the truck that was swerving was black. Tony's truck is white now. Or was there another truck there too>

Also, the digital cable went out from then Christopher in the Bing went up to Paulie to say until he stormed out of there. Anyone care to fill me in. I read upthread that Paulie said Chris' daughter would/should be dancing here in a couple years....what else did we miss. (seems like a bad time for the cable to go out).

You missed Christopher going to the writer (Tim Daly) after the Bada Bing and being a belligerent drunk. When the writer tried to get him to "do the program", ie, call his sponsor, go to a meeting, etc. Christopher got really mad and killed him. Then he went home.

My take on last night was that they wanted to show Christopher crashing back down into the mafia world, and AJ coming up into it. So we won't know how it's going to end...who is the "heir apparent" to Tony? His nephew that he groomed all those years? Or his son, who was never cut out for it but is starting to show his stuff?

I agree with you that they were really showing that AJ would be next in line. They really worked that in well, especially when his friends introduced him as Anthony Soprano Jr. to scare off the kid that owed them money. That would be just creepy if Tony went to bed with AJs girlfriend! I really thought he would have one night with Dr. Melfi after all this cat and mouse game they have been playing over the years.

No this is what I saw, I missed the 2-3 minutes leading up to that point - with Paulie and Chris at the Bing
