The Smiths are Heading Back...For 10 Days of Disney Magic! (Updated 8/16)

My baby is coming home today!!!!!

:banana::banana: Ash is coming home :banana::banana:

Cute dress! It sounds like Aisling has had a great time - I'm sure you're ready for her to be home, though! :goodvibes

She's home...and sick  Really sick. I had to sit up and hold her last night to sleep because she couldn't breathe well, bellyache, fever. Good times  Unfortunately, Randy had a wicked cold all week and OF COURSE on Thursday I caught it despite all my attempts not to. I can't really complain because I have (knock on wood) gotten very few colds this winter. In my line of work, I'm usually sick from October through April! I finally just got down to CVS to get ME meds. She was all set but Randy took all the adult cold medicine in the house and didn't replace it :headache:

Here is another pic from her trip (those other children are her cousins btw- the little girl is the same age as Ash and the boy is two years older)

Let's talk clothes!!!!!

In addition to the 'Ohana dress I posted, the following outfits still fit which is fabulous news since it really limits the amount of sewing I need to finish by August (although for the record....sewing with my new machine is a breeze compared to my old one)

And that brings us to the new outfits (courtesy of Jeanne)

This is just the skirt...she won't be wearing it with her uniform shirt and navy tights!

In addition to these, I've enlisted Laura to make a rather INSANE number of bows, Alicia to make a "surprise me" dress, and Jessica to make a dress for Tusker House. And of course, Aisling has been bugging Miss Stacy to make her something for 1900 PF. She seriously said that she wanted her to make something with the Tremaines this time since she felt "awkward" when the Tremaines teased her in the past that she was dressed with Cindy on the dress! :rotfl2: I have one more dress that I will definitely be making (with a Mickey Mouse cartoon strip fabric) and then I'm open to suggestions. For our pics, Aisling will be wearing store bought :scared1: . Plan is for us to all wear different shades of blue since we are doing the pics at the BW.

Oh and look...the new resort mugs are out! And they conveniently have 3 colors for the tops! Now we won't screw them up!

Wow I can't wait to see all her new outfit.
Is Ash a big girl or her cousins really little?
Love how both girls are missing their top teeth:thumbsup2

Combo of both! Aisling is really big for 7 and they are really tiny. They all have the same pediatrician and he can't believe they are related. Then again, Randy is 6'2 and their mother is 4'10. Oddly they were both overdue and Aisling was premature :rotfl2:

This is the two girls at their Kindergarten Graduation

Great pictures! Love all of those outfits! My Brooklyn is big compared to her peers and Devon is about average. One of her friends is teenie tiny too and it cracks me up that they are the same age. Again, the mom is tiny and the dad is about my height so it is expected.

The two new skirts are adorable! I can't wait to see what else your little fashionista ends up wearing. :goodvibes I'm so sorry to hear she is sick! Here's some pixie dust to get her well soon! :wizard:

I love the new mugs - so summery! I've never gotten them before, but since we're going to be staying so long this time I'm definitely getting one. :yay:

I am soooo happy that they fit again. So much work goes into them and it makes me want to cry if she only gets one wear out of them!

that graduation picture is adorable :lovestruc

aren't they cute! Aisling is the tallest in the class and Rachel is the shortest!

We've never gotten the mugs either. But a 10 day trip probably requires the mugs. Can't imagine that we won't use them at least 5 times (which is my estimate of when they would be "worth" it...and you have the cup as a souvie). I love that they look "Beach-Club"y :rotfl:

And...here is a little something my mommy bought me for the cruise (because apparently paying for the cruise wasn't spoiling me enough :rolleyes1)

My SIL is getting married outside at 11am in August so this might end up doing double duty there too. Another point about Aisling being so tall....she's a bridesmaid in the wedding (she's walking with Randy :lovestruc). The flower girl is the same age but since Aisling is almost as tall as Randy's sister (who is a PEANUT) she asked if she could be a flower girl instead!

She is wearing this:

I might end up bring it with us to Florida and having her take a couple of single pics on the BW during our photo session with it but we'll see.

Wait till you see Carla and Jennifer's new pattern! It reminds me of this one!! I made myself one and I am bringing it to Disney! I LOVE this dress!!!

what size clothes does she wear?

Aisling? Anywhere from a 7 to a 12 depending on the cut and brand. For the most part, I buy her a 10 though. She's 53 inches and 72 lbs! Big!

Did you post a pic of it yet?

The good thing about this dress is that it's actually cotton. Very nice for August heat/humidity.

Wow avy is 62lbs, in size 8 bottoms and 10/12 tops.
She is bigger the Jason too, he is only 67lbs.
Bet she is going to be tall. :lovestruc

Dr guesstimated about 5'10. (I'm 5'8 and Randy is 6'2). She better hope she's tall considering the poor kid is already shaped like me. She would get away with smaller pants if she didn't have hips already :sad2:
