The first thing I noticed was how in the world did they make the library look so HUGE!? I"m sure it's a forced perspective sort of thing - the windows being tiny on top, but WOW, it looks so big!

Apparently invisible too! I think that trip I realized it was a library.

Oh, I"d love a translation too! Fun stuff!

Glad you didn't give them any lip about the parade being cancelled. Someday, you'll get to see it. Just as you got to see the OMD movie. Odd that you can't remember any of it though. Must have been a real snoozer.

I think when I staked out my spot I realized it might be cancelled. I think I also saw a flurry of CM activity checking Nextels or Walkie talkies and figured that was the reason. I am sure someone was glued to the radar much like I am when we have weather in the area.


I think the movie was good, maybe it did not contain anything really new for me. I need to see it once more to see if it was "memorable"

Love the Streets of America pictures. I am very proud and can say I've noticed most of those buildings.

I get to the room about 4pm – and leave again around 6pm. Enough time for me to rest a bit and probably clean up a bit – no swimming today. Looking back I have no food pictures. Either I was still full from lunch, the heat may have curbed my appetite, I got something and have no idea what it was, or I was just scared to eat.

It is crowded at night so I opt to go the Poly to hopefully catch the EWP parade again from the beach as it should have been last night.

Well my lip is indeed swelling. No bueno.


There are 15 lovely items that I have tested positive for.
Celery, tomatoes, green beans, peas, carrots
Sesame, dill, mustard and garlic
Peanuts, walnuts, pecans, almonds
Soy, cantaloupe

Uh-oh!!! Glad it's just a mild reaction and a Benadryl took care of it!!! And that is quite a list...a meal can easily have several of those things!


Now, onto your most recent update-I hope you made it to the EWP!!! But, if not, the Poly is always a lovely place to relax at anyway! And why is it buses at DTD always seem to take the longest??? Do they just have the same amount of buses, but since they have to make more stops that it takes longer for them to arrive?

We're excited about getting to see all the changes to Downtown Disney in a few weeks. There will be plenty of new photo ops. We're hoping to get there Friday night early enough to take our first run through DTD to start off the trip.

I still think the big log with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and Piglet would be a great addition to my backyard - for the girls to play on. I suppose I should have the tree from Magic Kingdom to go with it, too, though, huh? Hey, I need those people from HGTV to come and Disney up my back yard!!!

Looking forward to Poly pictures next time.

I'm using C25K. I do like that it keeps track of everything for me. I just have to get up and do it. This AM was not so good tho. I did get up , only to find my iphone dead. I charged it for about 30 minutes only to find DD( she's 1 1/2 ) hid my iphone icon when she got hold of my phone yesterday. I need my tunes when I run. I gave up and did laundry instead. Tomorrow is another day.

I got up this morning. Not early enough apparently or i should say not out the door quick enough because by the end it was too hot and brutal.

I started out great and was running 8 instead of 3 and then walking 2. I timed out my 5k at 43:36 but then I walked most of the way back home. About the last mile.
i may runa short one early or walk a longer one. I have not decided yet.

I have tried to think of meal with ALL of them. A salad ( most of the veggies, soy with the salad dressing), Italian meal ( tomato and garlic with bread with sesame seeds ), mixed veggies as the side and cantaloupe and a nutty dessert. If the dill and mustard made their way into the salad all I would missing is celery which could be an appie with peanut butter to know out one of the nuts.

Getting to DTD is not nearly as hard as getting to a resort. If you start at the marketplace, then you stop at what was the Pleasure Island stop. if you are at any resort but SS, OKW, POR or POFQ you have quite a ride with lots of traffic lights that always seems to be red. Then unless you are at POP, you share with another resort. Late at night it is a bit better I think since they will pull at least the AK busses to help if it not near another park closing time.

I need to figure out how to get to DTD on the next trip. I am a little concerned that i may overdo it before the run so i need to be careful of that but a trip to DTD may slow me down some since it does take some time to get to and fro, it is less time on my feet.

Did you get to catch that show??? I guess I was a little surprised they actually used Disney imagineers to help design and create. At first I just thought they might mean just a tricked out space and used the word "Disney" to give the concept. I was pleasantly surprised to find actual Disney touches.

You are right. They usually go in the pen by the building. i was there one cool morning and I have to admit I smiled when I saw them there shivering and puffing.
