Markie's surgery went fine. He was on crutches for about a week; he still is gimping a little, but not too bad. He has a minor tear and his kneecap was crooked so they fixed it.
I'm hoping this back surgery works as the shots sure didn't. They will file the bone spurs and are also removing two discs and putting in a rod. He won't be able to do the big rides at Disney in September, but that's okay...we'll make it a "quiet" Disney trip.
I'm glad to hear the surgery went well. The scariest part about surgery, to me, is the anesthesia. Being young is in Markie's favor.
Back pain is one of the hardest to deal with. Steroids and epidurals don't always work because we use our backs so much, the possibility of "resting" it is almost impossible. I will keep him in my prayers.
All Right!!! It's almost time for you guys to be on your way!!! It's funny, I was just saying that this time last year we were getting ready to go on our first trip to Disney~~~
It is hard to believe it is almost time again. On one hand, time has went by sooooooo slow, but on the other is has flown by.
