I'm really excited about it . My shoes came in today, I haven't worn them yet because I worked today, but I am gonna try them out tomorrow.

What a fabulous night that will be!! I am so excited I cannot stand it!!!

I'm dancing in my seat right now. My leg is hurting and we got busy at the end of the day with a baby having to be admitted into our special care nursery so my dancer is all pooped out .

The shoes felt good just trying them on. Amanda wants a pair of the Nike shape up shoes. She works out at the University 3 times a week so she wants a pair for that.

I know it is going to be a blast. I get to use my camera up close on the animals our first day .

We have never done a GG before so I think it is going to be great. I am so blessed to have such sweet and thoughtful Dis buddies.

It was snowing earlier. It just stopped They had forecast 1-3", but I don't know if we are gonna hit the 3 mark.

For the first time since 1996 we finally got snow. It only snowed for about 2 hours and one hour of that was a very lite snow. By the end of those 2 hours the snow had melted and it looked like it had only rained. As soon as Dallas and I saw it start we bundled up and headed out the door. Here are some of the pictures I took

So our snow day came to an end. Sadly enough it did not last very long nor did we have much accumulation. I am just glad I was off work today so Dallas could go out and play in it for a while. Who knows? It may be another 14 years before we get snow again .

Too bad ya'll didn't get as much snow as they had predicted. We played in the snow for almost three hours this morning. Our temperature was supposed to get up to 38 so I knew the snow would melt by this afternoon. I was right. There's hardly any snow left....just some in the shady area.

I'm not complaining because it was nice to have it even if it was for a little while.
