Sorry I am just getting around to posting. If you've read my trip report, you'll see that I've had a crappy last couple of days.

I hate that your doctor's appointment had to be rescheduled but at least they rescheduled it pretty quickly. I know you are ready to get your release to go back to work.

What in the world were you thinking? You should know better than to start touching things up around the house. One little touch up leads to another which leads to another which leads to another.....you get my drift.

At least Niko is getting up (and you're following him around with the carpet cleaner) and about which I know is a relief for ya'll. You were so worried there for a while.

Love the pictures with the new camera. You'll get the hang of it in no time at all. Dallas is such a cutie pie!

This has been a really busy month, I was just hoping this month would be better than last.

I am soooooooooo ready to get back to work. The only thing I dislike about work is having to get up at 5am, but that is fine too. I will have to start taking my sleeping pill again so I can get to sleep like a normal person. I couldn't sleep at all last night. When I finally did get to sleep I had a couple of bad dreams and that ended my sleep. I hate bad dreams .

Once I start something I am like a crazy person going from room to room. I know I am OCD/ADHD, I get something in my mind and until I do it I can't get it out. It becomes a nagging pain in the posterior area that just won't go away. Then when I get in the room and start on the project I get side tracked and start on something else. I get everything done it just happens in a different way than most people do. I guess that is what I like about nursing, the tasks change from one minute to the next.

Niko is so much better. I was really worried about him. Not just for me, but because I didn't know how Dale, Tyler and Dallas were going to react if something happened to him.

Thanks Mary. I am going to print out that picture so I can frame it. I took about 28 pictures, but some of them have too much shadow and they don't look as good.

I think everything will go well at the doctors office tomorrow. I have faith .

Isn't it weird how the brain works? I wish I could get out of doing things the way I do, then I wouldn't end up doing twice as much as I planned and be so exhausted when I'm done........

Thanks Michelle. The weather was beautiful today, but yesterday and last night was horrible . We had some really bad thunderstorms and flooding. We are suppose to have great weather Saturday so I am going to get Dale to take me down to Pensacola or Ft. Walton Beach so I can take some pictures

I heard that Huntsville was hit by a tornado today--that's no anywhere near you, is it?! Brent's best friend lives in Huntsville (Madison to be exact) and thankfully it didn't hit near them!

Well, it did rain quite a bit on Wednesday, but no serious storms for us. Today (Friday) is looking quite nice, and so is the weekend. Looking forward to not having school for two days!

+ Kevin is home after having been out of town for 10 or the past 12 nights. Hopefully no traveling until next month!

The temps are sooooo much better than that cold stuff we had at the first of the month aren't they? Don't get me wrong, I hate being hot, but I can cool off a whole lot faster than I can get warmed up if I'm cold.

We are about an hour west of Huntsville, and we escaped bad weather last night, but I did see on the news where Huntsville was hit by a tornado. We had driven out to my parents' house around dinner time, and it was on the tv then. I didn't get a chance to watch any more news to see what the extent of damage, if any, was. I think Jill, Brooklynn'sMommy, lives right outside of Huntsville. I hope her family was ok.

Lisa, I got my release today. . I have to call Sunday and see if one of the nurses working this weekend wants off Monday otherwise I will work Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, those are my regular days.

They sure are!! I know what you mean--I am sooo cold-natured so I am ALWAYS cold!! Today it was cooler than it has been the past few days and I was freezing!!

Oh good!! Glad ya'll are ok!! I think Jill is fine--I've seen her updates on Facebook and I think she would have posted if they had been effected by the storm! Thank goodness--tornadoes are sooo scary! One demolished a lot of Union University a few years back--it was so sad! But soo amazing that no one was killed! God had His hand on Union for sure!! It also hit very close to my parent's house!

First and foremost I want to thank each and every one of my friends for your prayers and encouragement while I was injured . Thanks to all the prayers from my friends I have been released by the doctor and will be going back to work next week.

I wore my boot to the doctor's office today and he asked me if I had been wearing it? I kinda gave him a little look and said "No" he asks "Then why are you wearing it now?" . I told him I didn't want to get in trouble so I took it out of the closet and put it on, he told me to put it back in the closet . He had his nurse write my release to return to work on 1/25/10 and he signed it. He told me he didn't need to see me again unless I needed something. I told him it had been nice seeing them, but I'm glad I wouldn't be seeing them again . I took my release form to my Charge Nurse and I faxed all my Aflac papers in and now I am a free woman .

I stopped by the Ronald McDonald House today and picked up my volunteer forms for Give a Day. The people in the office seemed way too busy to really want to help me. Maybe I could help them catch up on paperwork .


My lens was waiting for me when I got home and it is AWESOME. The salesman called me back yesterday, after I placed my order online, and suggested I get a Sigma lens. It is a 70-300mm and it has a metal mount instead of plastic. Now, I know I am a camera novice, but it seems like a good lens. I took some pictures with it, nothing worth posting, and it took some crisp pictures. Tomorrow we are gonna ride along the beach and I am going to take some pictures. I want to go to Vallarta's and have a big ole margarita to celebrate. I also need to find a bigger camera bag........
