For Peepfest I am hoping to do both. Kids and I for the WDW portion (my bday is June 21st and add the Hubby in for the cruise. A 4 or 5 day cruise would be best I think. As far as the WDW I hope to stay for as long as I have points!!
Oh Mary we will meet again!!!:banana:

Heather!!!!

Just glad you check in every now and then!

Don't you have a trip coming up?

I didn't drink too much beer on the trip..:rolleyes1

Oh and more restroom fodder coming up....

Yep - we leave two weeks from tomorrow. I have finally figured out which park we'll visit on which day and that is good enough for me on this trip. I have never flown this much by the seat of my pants, but I'm ok with it. Kind of. I might end up locking myself in the bathroom of the airport, sucking my thumb and crying. We'll see. Either way, you know I'll let you know in my TR sometime circa 2017.

What? No beer on this trip? Did Mike at ESPN quit or something?:rotfl2:

This whole Peepfest thing sounds like too much fun for words. Do you think you'll be drinking any beer on that trip, or will it be too much for your ancient gastrointestinal tract at that point? :rolleyes1

I'm with Rosie for this one (unless her family goes along) and will also be an early celebration of my 65th too!!

Would only do Land portion and see if I can convince on Rosie to upgrade from POP. If not, will likely splurge on whichever resort has been most recently refurbed. :teeth:

Not sure about dates, but whatever falls into place will likely work fine for me too.

I'm a lurker most times, but enjoy popping in now and then. Which reminds - think I missed your birthday, Jordan - so a bit belated, but very Happy Birthday wishes. May your year be blessed and may all your wishes come true.

Christine you know I would try POFQ!!!!!!! In June there may be some PINS too !!!:banana:

I did drink beer....

You're going to do a TR?;)

I will probably drink some, not a ton though...well, maybe a 1/2 ton:rolleyes1

 Thank you Rosie.
I'm with you Rosie, I love the POP, but this time we're staying somewhere else and I'm a little nervous we won't like it as much as we loved the POP. We're staying at the Coronado Springs Resort, since it turns out to be cheaper than two rooms at the POP (with the code), the rooms have queen beds instead of doubles, and they just did a remodel. Major plus in my book.

CSR is wonderful. There is a great resort thread. 2 Queens :thumbsup2
I have been there 3 times. Twice for a conference. Some rooms are quite a walk but I am sure you can request a pretty close one. I had no trouble when I was put out in what I thought was the boonies asking for a closer room. I have stayed twice in the casitas after renovation and once in the cabanas before renovation. Food court is great of you are on the dining plan but can be expensive if you are not.

I was sitting at the 15 degree angle waiting to take off when I hear a clicking noise. I look around only to see the guy across the aisle from me FLOSSING. Really? Where are all the chunks going? You know the ones that usually end up on your mirror at home. THEN, he has no place to put the 2 pieces of floss he used. Well, he found a home for the used floss....the magazine rack in his seat....:scared1::scared1::scared1:. I died and went to heaven....he must've known I was writing a TR and needed some good stories...;)

UGH.....THAT IS SO GROSS!!!!!! i had to literally read this out loud to ray just now just to prove i wasn't seeing things. i don't think i could have helped but to stare at him in complete disgust. EEWWWWWWW!!!!!

Photo theme Alert #2. What chonies am I wearing today?

Good in theory. Marginal execution. But there was so much talk about chonies on my PTR, I thought in tribute to those many discussions, I'd have a little game to entertain you throughout the report....Here are the chonies I brought:
017.jpg

okay, see, i'm gonna need to know what you are wearing to guess what chonies you are wearing underneath. around the age of about 14 i have always had this thing where i try to match my undies with what i'm wearing if i can possibly do so. it bugs me otherwise. and i don't know why. no one but myself and my husband sees them. i'm a very modest person so it's not like i like to go running around in my underwear. it's just a weird thing i do. so i would need to know what the rest of your ensemble consisted of before my brain would even let me guess!

Here's my first food porn pic of the trip.

my mouth is watering.

(i hope you can sense the sarcasm in that comment.)

your room location is actually pretty good. erica and i were in the building behind that laptop across from you in september 2008 and it was nice because we were close to both the parking lot where her car was and the bus stops. glad you stuck with that location! :thumbsup2

I fully intend to start my TR in 2017 and finish around 2021-22... In other words, I'll finish it before I finish the one from my 2007 trip. haha.

But seriously, NO. No more TRs for me. I'll be updating my FB page with live reports and pics from the parks. Hit me up on FB for a daily WDW fix!!

Jordan
I would opt for Land only. I can get away with some advance planning and well 2 years is pretty advanced, even for me :lmao:

I may be going solo since the DH is a Dishater right now.

Would you do both land/sea?

probably just land for me. seeing as ray will NOT go to florida in june, this will probably be a trip with me and a friend or friends and possibly a little one over a long weekend if it even happens at all. and i'm not doing a cruise without him. plus i kinda want to wait until a potential future child is a little bit older to do a cruise where they can actually take advantage of the kid-only areas (and the adult-only areas for us!).

any of your itineraries look good to me since you'll be at WDW long enough for me to try to manage a weekend trip down there! like i said, very tentative. but possibly possible! :thumbsup2

:scared1::scared1::scared1::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

What if they didn't clean it out?

Surprise for the next flight!:thumbsup2

Wow! I gotta remember this story..it's one for the ages....

Poop Fest :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I hope you and WSU can make it and the rest of the family:thumbsup2

Let me know what works for you......

Fantasyland is scheduled to be done in phases with the 1st phase done sometime late 2011/early 2012 and Phase 2 in 2012 (probably late).

No Sports at all Rosie?

Sorry Jordan !!! I like Tennis and Horse jumping !!!:rotfl2:

We would be banned to a life boat to find our own way home or left at castaway cay...

I'm surprised we didn't get thrown out of a few places in Disney with our shinnanigins !!!!:lmao::lmao:

UGH.....THAT IS SO GROSS!!!!!! i had to literally read this out loud to ray just now just to prove i wasn't seeing things. i don't think i could have helped but to stare at him in complete disgust. EEWWWWWWW!!!!!

He was a bit in front of me across the aisle so our eyes never met.

I would've picked my nose and flicked it at him if he had ever looked my way...;)

pop sometimes gets a bad rap....I have loved every room location....

Sounds good! Land only that is.

I'll take possibly:hug:

OMG first I have to say that Wendy's kids just get cuter and cuter in every picture. And Dylan has awesome camera skills :thumbsup2

I was laughing out loud at your airplane stories, to the point that my brother asked me what I was laughing at. So I read him and Lumar the first airplane story. THEN I had to go back and read him a drunk story from last year (the guy who got married to a chick with 7 kids who dumped him while at WDW? yeah...THAT guy). THEN I had to show him the pictures from Guiyang...:faint: that shower just totally gives me the creeps.

On to more pressing issues....

Questions to all you in DIS land:

Would you do both land/sea? If we could afford it, absolutely.

Prefer land?
Prefer sea?
I've never been on a cruise so I can't say that I prefer one over the other. It's just money that's an issue.

Can't do June?
Could definitely do June if we could afford it. :thumbsup2

Would do land/sea if sea was only 3-4 days?
I'm dying to the 14 day Disney Cruise to the Mediterranean so time is not an issue for me. It's all about the money.

If there are only a handful of cruise "yes" folks out there, I MAY abandon the cruise or do a 3-4 day instead. As it stands today, here's my itinerary (come on, you thought I didn't have one started already????!!!!!!)
Of course you have one. I would have one too! To be honest, June is not our "Disney Time" so if we were to come, we would just come down and hang out for a few days and then come back to CT and would most likely NOT do the cruise. Not because we don't want to spend every waking moment with you, but just because we are getting laid off and money will be an issue. I know we are still gonna want to go on our regularly scheduled trip in October and I won't be able to swing both if we do the cruise with you guys in June.

And BTW - I have a ticker! :thumbsup2 Booked today, 25% off moderate stay!

Oh and another BTW - I friended you :)

I hope to be in for Peep Fest!!! :cool1: I have been planning on it for a while now!!!! no cruise though. too expensive for us. but the end of June is perfect. :thumbsup2
