Congrats Camille!

:goodvibes Thank you Glenn, this will be you before to long, don't blink, it's just around the corner. :sad1:

I can maybe see if the guy was eating popcorn while waiting for the plane and he HAD to get a piece out of there.... with that said... that is still just gross.:crazy2:

YAY:yay: for the cheery CM at check-in.
BOO :rolleyes2 for Everything POP being closed.

You should see my DW when we get into our seat at the plane. She has her disinfectant wipes wiping everything down. I swear that we always sit infront of a sneezing; coughing; weezing; person every trip.

Now this isn't a bad idea! Hmmmm, I'm thinking mine will be in my backpack on the plane and not just in my park bag.

True.

I just may be investing in seat covers. lol

You can always wear a hazmat suit

This is where living in ingnorance is....how do they put it? Bliss!
"La, la, la, I don't know there have been a million other people before me and I don't know that there are million and one germs sitting on the top of that there little button to put down my tray." :rolleyes1

Okay I'll be back later tonight, when most of you are asleep......

Except maybe All7ofUs, Tammie, Cherie, Cynthia.......

:snooty: Hmmmmph!

;)

From me to Cammie !!:banana::banana:

Awwwww. Thank you Rosie..... I've been given a nickname!!! :yay: You just made my day Rosie. :goodvibes

I am at church right now!

As The Genie would say...."All right you baaaaad boy!"

:cheer2::cheer2:CONGRATULATIONS!!!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

:goodvibes Thank you Tammie, it's a real load off his and our shoulders to wonder if he would make it, I guess we shouldn't have been so surprised, but you just never know what group of people are sitting there deciding one's future. I've been in on one of those groups for a scholarship, it was apart of a women's political group I use to be apart of. Sometimes it comes down to a hairs difference on why it's decided who's in and who isn't.

 No, it was not Alek and Erich. It was just Mom and I on the trip. She took me house hunting with her when my dad was posted to Virginia Beach while the boys stayed at home. That trip had several memorable moments, like when the TSA agent rooted through Mom's bag and pulled out a tampon and asked us in his most threatening voice what it was.:lmao: Yep, Mom is taking down the plane with a tampon. Seriously, how could he not know what it was? I nearly died with laughter.

I would have said..... "Would you like me to demonstrate on you?!? I bet he would remember in a instant what it was. :rotfl: I would have inserted it up his nose. :rotfl:
That's like the dumb teacher asking where you were going after asking to go to the bathroom, it makes you want to tell them in detail what your going to do so they'll feel stupid for being stupid.

:rotfl2: I wish there were a fun explanation - one day it just fell off :confused3 I have been on the DIS so much through Jordan's TRs my computer wore out - that's my story and I'm stickin to it! :lmao:

Now, about your head.....:rolleyes1

:rotfl2: I also came up with all kinds of ideas Blue! :rotfl:

I would stick with the story you came up with too Tammie!

Good morning, Jordan! I was a couple of updates behind, but I enjoyed reading two of them together.

Those slot machines are the number one reason that Charles and I could never have a connecting flight through Las Vegas (or go there on vacation for that matter) -- we would be broke before we left. :rotfl:

Ewww to the guy flossing -- who does that sort of thing in public???

Yeay for reaching Pop even if it was sitting behind the couple making out! :lmao:

Sounds like the room is going to work out great!

Flossing on the plane :scared1:
Dumping the floss in the magazine pocket :scared1::scared1::scared1:

I hope the Gardetto's were enough until morning.

Happy that you liked your room location, even though it wasn't your first choice.

I went commando the whole time I was there..:rolleyes1
That's what we call it! On our trip last May we got thoroughly soaked in MK and had to get to Chef Mickey for a ressie. When we got there I realized that the girls couldn't sit in the A/C in wet clothes. We went to the gift shop right there and I got them pajama bottoms (hey they were at least dry) my youngest DD said I need underwear, mine are wet. I told her I wasn't spending $10 for underwear. She said, "I am not going commando." And proceeded to buy her own. :lmao:

I'm way behind but I've heard a lot about you from Liesa (All7OfUs) and Glen (glennbo123) --don't worry it's all good things ;) So I decided to come join in on your TR! I just missed you at the World by a couple days. I went from Feb 20-24. Was it cold enough for ya? :lmao: Can't wait to hear about your trip!

How fun would that be to be in Vancouver on the last day?

it would have!

Sadly we don't have the right BC's for the big kids and a 17 year old terrible at recon....so it didn't happen.

Oh well, T's happy that he gets to go to youth group, I'm happy I'll make it to yoga, Jeff's happy that I said I'd make waffles as consolation and K's happy that she gets to go shopping with me instead.

We'd all rather have gone up though.

Ugh, a guy flossing on the plane? That's disgusting! Although I have a good one too. The last flight I was on, a man (after eating a warm egg salad sandwich which stunk up the entire plane) proceeded to whip out his q-tips and clean his ears. Um, gross?! But it was like a train wreck, I couldn't look away, I just stared in disbelief...

Love the feet pic, I think that is a standard vacation photo. Everyone has one like that, and looking at it just takes you back to your wonderful vacation.

Hi Jordan, I loved your first night story and pics. Nice chonies and good idea about the change cup. You really make the reader feel as if we are right there with you-what fun!

Is it weird when I say the change cup totally reminds me of vacation.

By the way, I hope you do not mind me asking but I was wondering about two things from your previous reports. How did the Church renovation turn out and whatever came out of your new job or possible change of duties? I tried to be thorough in my reading but somehow never heard how the talk with your boss went. It has been a long time ago, and much talk about wipes, binders, poo, kilts, eating out of trashcans, etc. etc. in between since you talked about this. I was worried but everything must have turned out okay because you are still so busy at work.

Again, thanks for sharing your story!:surfweb:

The renovation is about 7 weeks behind so now we're looking at a June completion date IF it doesn't keep raining....:rolleyes1

I'm still plugging away in my job....haven't really talked too much to the senior pastor...it's better that way. I really should be at director level, but the Sr Pastor doesn't see that way.:confused3

I am so sorry you are so busy, don't forget to take care of yourself .

I LOVE the point of view pictures, especially from Pop, it really brings back memories and makes me excited for our upcoming trip :yay:. The only thing is we don't explore it enough :sad2:. I have stayed at Pop 4 times and have never seen that pool in person, but being with a man with Cerebral Palsy in a wheelchair means a pool is not on the priority list.

I also put things in their place when I check it, it makes me more at ease to know where things are at :thumbsup2. The room location sounded like it turned out very well.

I can't wait to read more.

Have you ever taken a walk along the lake? Simply the best...so relaxing.

Like I said when I read Winkers report - as gross as the floss story is - you can't help but be excited for a good story!

Our first stay at Pop we were on the 4th floor of the 90's. We enjoyed that location a lot!

I do think the planners put some thought into the layout of Pop. I've stayed in 4 different locations and on each floor and haven't had a bad room yet.

:rotfl2: I wish there were a fun explanation - one day it just fell off :confused3 I have been on the DIS so much through Jordan's TRs my computer wore out - that's my story and I'm stickin to it! :lmao:

Now, about your head.....:rolleyes1

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I am missing one of my control keys. It drives me nuts!! My computer wasn't even a year old when it broke off somehow. :confused3

Just read thru and caught up.
Ewww
Nice room.
can't wait for another update!
popcorn::

Sorry about the length of time between updates.[/B] Work is crazy and looks to get crazier over the next few months. I had a seminar this morning that I was supposed to go to, but decided to sleep in instead. Apparently, I needed it as I slept from about midnight last night til 10am this morning. Next week besides my normal work schedule, I have a meeting Tuesday night, Thursday night and all day Saturday. I think I have a meeting after church this Sunday, but I forget....
I will try and get 2-3 updates done a week. However, if you read my last TR, it did take me 15 months to finish the that one. So I hope you're a patient crew.

Sounds like you needed your sleep!! Don't worry about us, we'll be right here waiting patiently! :goodvibes

Just some food for thought. Don't you just hate it when you get up in the morning for your morning deposit. You do your due diligence. You're done. Only to find 15 minutes later that round 2 appears to making it's way down the pipes. Have to sit AGAIN. Wipe again. It's just bothersome. Anyways...just a little poo talk for the day. (There's the story Glenn)

Time taken away from Dissing... :rolleyes1

Airplane details missed. As I was reading about thongs, g-strings being like dental floss and then going to Blueyed Girl's TR and seeing the fake teeth....I forgot a story about my plane ride from Vegas to MCO. I was sitting at the 15 degree angle waiting to take off when I hear a clicking noise. I look around only to see the guy across the aisle from me FLOSSING. Really? Where are all the chunks going? You know the ones that usually end up on your mirror at home. THEN, he has no place to put the 2 pieces of floss he used. Well, he found a home for the used floss....the magazine rack in his seat....:scared1::scared1::scared1:. I died and went to heaven....he must've known I was writing a TR and needed some good stories...;)

:eek:EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

I thought a bit more about my room location. Although not my 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 100th choice, it seemed like it was going to be a GREAT room. I am more of a glass half full kind of guy.

1. It was on the 4th floor. No people above me.
2. It was close to the stairs. Just 2 rooms away.
3. It was close to the pool.
4. It was VERY close to the bus stops!

I decided I'd probably stay with this location.

With that, I finally decided to hit the sack. I looked at the clock. 3am.....

Sounds like this is going to be a GREAT spot!! Bummer no 24hr food though.

Great update!!:thumbsup2

Whew, just got through the whole report, loving it so far on the edge of my seat for more. I've been lurking on the boards for a while now and have read quite a bit of your reports, great stories and I've finally decided to officially join in on one. popcorn::

Way to roll with the room assignment. We stayed in the 80's in 2007 and it was a short walk to the bus stop. When I was assigned the 90 in 2009 I didn't think it was a bad spot I just wanted something different. We had already enjoyed the computer pool.

I'm so sorry you couldn't find any real food once you got to Pop. I hope you made up for it the next morning.:thumbsup2
