Just think I have 3 furry faces that look at me like this when my/our bags are packed!! It is really sad....and as soon as the bags come out they know EXACTLY what you are doing

IHOP for breakfast. I had an avocado, bacon and cheese omelette and hash browns, coffee and OJ.

Just had to comment on this....went to IHOP for the first time in FOREVER yesterday morning. I however did NOT have the omelette choice you did, b/c I would have for sure gotten that. But I did have a spinach & mushroom omelette that was INCREDIBLE!!! Will be going back there again....and hopefully SOON!

I was sitting at the 15 degree angle waiting to take off when I hear a clicking noise. I look around only to see the guy across the aisle from me FLOSSING. Really? Where are all the chunks going? You know the ones that usually end up on your mirror at home. THEN, he has no place to put the 2 pieces of floss he used. Well, he found a home for the used floss....the magazine rack in his seat..... I died and went to heaven....he must've known I was writing a TR and needed some good stories...

Being a dental asstistant this story just makes me LAUGH!!

I thought a bit more about my room location. Although not my 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 100th choice, it seemed like it was going to be a GREAT room. I am more of a glass half full kind of guy.

When Dawn and I went we had requested a very specific 'batch' of rooms. The CM even commented how good we were to do that and that there were plenty of choices for them to pick from. They gave us a room on the exact OPPOSITE side of what we had asked for . So we did ask for a different room and ended up in the 90's bulid, which we didn't think we'd be happy with. But like yours it ended up being a GREAT spot!

With that, I finally decided to hit the sack. I looked at the clock. 3am.....

I'm with you Rosie, I love the POP, but this time we're staying somewhere else and I'm a little nervous we won't like it as much as we loved the POP. We're staying at the Coronado Springs Resort, since it turns out to be cheaper than two rooms at the POP (with the code), the rooms have queen beds instead of doubles, and they just did a remodel. Major plus in my book.

Oh I know. I can't believe how the years are flying by. Now I sound like my parents!

Your room location sounds really good, even if it wasn't your request. I hate getting in so late with no time to eat. I'm glad you at least found a snack. Someone would do well to open a snack bar near the ME area - I'm sure they would have alot of business! Full of people who are not going to a drive-thru!

I'm sure we'll all be here for 15 months and then some! I just ordered a new laptop cuz I wore the N-Key right off this one and the battery is shot!

I have no idea about the chonies, I'm gonna pick the green plaid cuz they are on top

No, it was not Alek and Erich. It was just Mom and I on the trip. She took me house hunting with her when my dad was posted to Virginia Beach while the boys stayed at home. That trip had several memorable moments, like when the TSA agent rooted through Mom's bag and pulled out a tampon and asked us in his most threatening voice what it was. Yep, Mom is taking down the plane with a tampon. Seriously, how could he not know what it was? I nearly died with laughter.

Was your mom mortified or was she in shock that he was serious....

We had a room very near to there a few years ago, and with the short cut to the buses it wasn't half bad! Originally I picked the 80s because KC is a geek at heart and I knew he'd love the computer stuff. So glad you at least found a snack!

It was meant to be me and room 9434. It was a definite match.

Good morning, Jordan! I was a couple of updates behind, but I enjoyed reading two of them together.

Those slot machines are the number one reason that Charles and I could never have a connecting flight through Las Vegas (or go there on vacation for that matter) -- we would be broke before we left.

I mean I don't mind him flossing IN the restroom....but within bits o' food distance.....

Wasn't my 100th choice either, but it was still great.

That's what we call it! On our trip last May we got thoroughly soaked in MK and had to get to Chef Mickey for a ressie. When we got there I realized that the girls couldn't sit in the A/C in wet clothes. We went to the gift shop right there and I got them pajama bottoms (hey they were at least dry) my youngest DD said I need underwear, mine are wet. I told her I wasn't spending $10 for underwear. She said, "I am not going commando." And proceeded to buy her own.
