The other bikini top story I have is from BB back in 2002...there I was minding my own business and resting from my pregnant adventure in the lazy river (a story for another time) and up come two very attractive couples in search of their towels to dry off. Well...I guess they didn't see me laying there in the chair right next to them so the girls pulled up their tops to dry themselves and pulled them back down! My husband was swimming with DD and didn't see it.....he was so disappointed
Too bad the guys didn't need to dry off a little more

it was funny because as I was reading this update a couple nights ago I got confuzzled on the timing of events! I`m reading Cherie and Rosies reports also, so I kinda assumed that you were on the same day. IP-DIP is me!!

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I have joined the madness. Now I understand how Jordan spends eons of time online and why Wendy didn't want me to get hooked.

The funny thing is that Wendy used to fret that our kids wouldn't turn out cute and I said, "it's all in God's hands and if they don't turn out cute, then it's our parents fault....just kidding".

Fortunately they turned out cute so they're keepers.

Chapter 8. 2012 will be here sooner than later.

So let's talk 2012. I've made a few decisions about the trip in 2012. First, thanks for all the feedback. It's helped me get a sense of what people are thinking when it comes to PeepFest. It sounds like a lot of people are at least considering coming along for at least a portion of the fun.

June 2012. Here's the plan as it stands right now:

Friday, June 15th-Sunday, June 24th WDW
Sunday, June 24th-Thurs, June 28th DCL 4-night
Thurs, June 28th-Mon, July 2nd WDW

I shortened the length of the DCL because not many people were interested and it would get REALLY expensive to do both. We'll see what happens with my friends here. It may drop out all together by then. I haven't cruised since 2005 and really want to get back on one of the DCL ships.

Wendy and Derek and clan are going on the DCL Cruise to Alaska Summer of 2011 so I'm not sure that they would be able to do both WDW AND a 7 day in 2012. DCL is VERY expensive--worth every penny, but WAY expensive for families. That's the other reason I'm shortening the cruise...maybe they can do a 4-day.


February 2012. Bonus Trip:

Because many of you simply cannot make the trip in June, I thought I'd add bonus dates closer to the date of my actual birthday. At first, I was thinking the 24th-March 1st. However, those dates fall at the end of President's Week. That is also the week of Mardi Gras and apparently the week of winter break for the Northeast schools. So I am rethinking those dates. It'll probably be:

Saturday, Feb 4th-Friday, Feb 10th or
Saturday, Feb 11th-Friday, Feb 17th.

Of course, I may stick with the original dates if several peeps can't make those dates.

I am doing all this pre-planning well, because it gives me something to look forward to and also because cruise dates will come out Oct/Nov of this year and it usually pays to book cruises earlier than later.

Depending on how many people decide to come, I may need help planning the big DISmeets. I figure 1 or 2 big ones and then people can add small ones if they'd like. Together time and alone time seems to work out very well for most people. Let me know if you are interested in helping to plan PeepFest.

Interesting wrinkle: Disney is FINALLY going to start selling Premium Annual Passports that will be good at both WDW and DLR. For someone that lives close to Disneyland, but travels across country to get his Disney fix this is the best deal! Apparently, it'll cost around 700.00 (i'm thinking it'll go up to 800 fairly quickly). Still, it'll save me a ton o money come 2012. I haven't had a DL AP for 3 years, but come July 2011 I'll be purchasing the 2-Park Premium AP. It'll be good for both my WDW trips AND get me into DL/DCA just in time for CarsLand to be open!!!!!

So that's the latest on PEEPFEST...anyone have T-shirt designs yet? Buttons?

Family Sunday

On Sunday, our extended family got together at Wendy and Derek. Our cousins came over first. my mommy is on the left.

My dad is next to my mom:

They had to leave and then my brother, Jeff and his wife came over. My niece, Avery and her BF, Jimmy came over. Jeff and clan were visiting from Conn. The kids monopolized my niece and her boyfriend. Ashlyn and my brother developed a little bond. It was the first time Jeff had seen Ashlyn:

I wish I had your Fountain of Youth secrets.....

I take it you have a BBQ restaurant. I think you said that at some point....I'm super busy on Sundays, but Saturdays are actually busier with both meetings AND events often scheduled on the same day.

Bengal BBQ is the place you are thinking of at Disneyland. I've never eaten there since it's always crazy busy. It was cool and windy today, but clear.

You haven't even been to Yosemite, Carmel, Monterey, Lake Tahoe, Napa, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, Newport Beach....

Actually have been to Newport Beach! But definitely want to see many of the places you mentioned, even if you were being a smarty pants!

We cook on hardwood=everything is grilled, not smoked. It falls off the bone that way. I always try BBQ whenever we go away. I like all different kinds. I am very lucky, we don't have any meetings. I have a great staff , most of them have been with us for 15 years, and we hire lots of school kids to fill in the hours. They are always so fun and lively. If anything , they keep me young. I feel like I have 16 kids, but only have to take 3 of them home at night. I am an easy boss-too much like their friend so work is fun for me too!
