Jordan your family is so sweet. You are so lucky to be able to get together. My sister and nieces lived in Japan for the last 3 years, and now is back in London, her home. My uncle and fam live in Baltimore, and my Aunt and fam live in Philadelphia. I am near Pittsburgh which is 4 to 6 hours from each. My Mom lives 5 minutes away-which is wonderful and terrible at the same time. HA Ha!

I would love to go on the DCL, but am very prone to motion sickness. As I said on Rosies TR, I get dizzy scrolling down on the computer too quickly! Seriously, that is why I read every post, because I can scroll down nice and slow.

Planning PeepFest is gonna be crazy-but I think you are up to the challenge. I remember how well you arranged and rearranged the trip a few years ago when you had so many people adding and changing dates on you!

Derek, you have a precious family. It is really neat having you and Wendy and Jordan talking together. I was hysterical when Jordan asked you why you cannot just yell to Wendy instead of posting to each other !

We got plenty of canes, walkers and wheel chairs for you from Uncle David (Wendy's dad) and my dad. I think we even have a portable potty seat for you (which I used for my former bosses' 50th b-day too)

Yeah, usually Wendy and I resort to IMing each other (on Facebook) from different rooms instead of shouting but lately we've been in the same room now she's literally by my side lurking on DIS on her work laptop while I'm on the office mac Call us inseparable? Jordy can vouch for that.

Did you know that I used to manny for Wendy's kids (mostly Erin and Dylan) from 2002-2008? We are very close. Derek and Wendy are more like my brother and sister than cousins. We fight, we make up...we're family.

We actually live fairly close to a ton of family. I feel very fortunate. there were many years when I lived far, far away from family AND friends-very lonely. Both my brothers live pretty far. I rarely see them much anymore.

PeepFest will be fun to plan!

Friday, June 15th-Sunday, June 24th WDW

I could do this week solo... maybe. Kids are in school for most of it so Ed would have to take vacation days (nights).

I honestly wouldn't be too keen on going to WDW right before the big 4th of July crowds... even though the kids would be out of school by then.

February 2012. Bonus Trip:
At first, I was thinking the 24th-March 1st. However, those dates fall at the end of President's Week. That is also the week of Mardi Gras and apparently the week of winter break for the Northeast schools. So I am rethinking those dates. It'll probably be:

Saturday, Feb 4th-Friday, Feb 10th or
Saturday, Feb 11th-Friday, Feb 17th.

I was thinking the same thoughts about Mardi Gras and Winter Break!

Either week would be good for me... again, probably a solo trip since the kids will be in school.

Hooray for the Premium Annual Pass!! Its got your name written all over it!

The family pictures were so sweet... especially the ones with your brother and Ashlyn! Awwww! Looks like she really stole his heart!

Chapter 8. 2012 will be here sooner than later.

Wendy and Derek and clan are going on the DCL Cruise to Alaska Summer of 2011 so I'm not sure that they would be able to do both WDW AND a 7 day in 2012. DCL is VERY expensive--worth every penny, but WAY expensive for families. That's the other reason I'm shortening the cruise...maybe they can do a 4-day.

The clan are our parents (Wendy's and mine) and some friends for about 11 folks (plus us 5) for now with invites to many more.....come cruising with us We'll all have a

I think the website is an awesome idea! It would be great to track everyone's individual dates/resorts, etc!
