I :worship: to your 8:19. That is seriously impressive.

and 5:19 for you, not to mention on a lack of sleep.

Of course you were hungry!

I love French toast.

I love bananas.

Really not sure what I'd think about Tonga.

Have a feeling it would be a bit much for me.

With my crew? On west coast time? We'll need to be staying at a MK resort to ever attempt it.

Heading to Epcot was wise, scared about those crowds, just had deja vu looking at them from out trip.

Pole Dancing on the monorail (pole sitting?) :rotfl2:

Feb dates.

Hmmn. If for some reason the clan couldn't do the June trip I would consider a solo trip for the Feb dates. My BFP is to have DVC by Peepfest but I don't think we will have extra points.

You never know though!

Is it wrong that I've structured our savings plan for it so that we'd buy in time to hit the 7 month window for Peepfest?

I don't think so.

I think if you bought a Tonga Toast to go and had it for dessert it would be better.

I don't think there's anything wrong with planning with PeepFest in mind.

I was in a nyquil induced coma last night so I missed all the fun.:sad2:

I remember house coat lady, it looked like she was wearing a snuggie...backwards.

As for the my pole magnatism....I had plenty of encouragment.

You and Rosie need to s-l-o-w down! I can't keep up, I've only gotten to the end of day 1......

I love nyquil...maybe a little too much.

I remember us laughing at the snuggie lady

I'm only on the first full day for me.I have some of Wendy's pix to post before I move on.

Tonga Toast sounds so yummy! One of these days I will try it!

I like option #2, I was thinking if it is a short cruise maybe Mom and I would leave Alek and Erich to their own devices for a few days in Orlando while we go on the cruise. :rolleyes1 Of course it all depends on finances.

Cruises, especially DCL, are pretty pricey

dont think i would like the toast either jordan, my breakfast has to have meat in it.

my parents and Sister and her family will be down in FL for that time frame in 2012

we are going in oct of that year so sorry we wont be able to make it.

::yes::

no way you could switch?

Aww...they're so sweet and innocent when they're sleeping.

Thank god you have a TOC in the beginning of this TR. Otherwise, I'd never find your updates. This has the potential of being the longest TR on record.

I don't think it'll be a record....

1. Thank you God for links.
2. Sorry, I can't join in on all the banter-I know I miss a lot.
3. Nope, I'm there with ya.
4. People used to get infractions for toilet talk.
5. You are a crazy writer/ what are you doing working for a church.
6. I'm turning 50 in 2 years, class of 1980?

1/2. you're welcome. just glad you pop in once in awhile.
3. How about pancakes?
4. I'd be banned by now.
5. you should talk....you work at church...
6. yes, class of 80.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

What a fun breakfast meet! I must go over to Cherie's report to get some more details...

I have yet to try Tonga Toast, but I think macadamia nut pancakes sound yummier!

Feb 22-27 works well for me, too. Kids have their "Mid-Winter Break" that week and can go to Grandma's! :thumbsup2 I think I would enjoy the cooler weather as well...

Kathy

I love banana pancakes. blueberry pancakes.

Feb:thumbsup2

mmmmm:rotfl2:

I found Rosies TR ... then Winkers...then Blues and obviously then had to go to Jordy's!

Sooooooooooooo I spent all of Sunday in my PJ's on the laptop reading the 2008 Pre-TR and TR...and I had to read every page to get all the funny stories and comments.

Now, I'm scheduling from 5pm-10pm nightly and all day Sat and Sun to catch up on the 2009 trip! hmm, I think I have becoming addicted to Jordy.

I think you guys are a hoot! and have loved reading all the funnisms and seeing the great pics thus far..and I'm now thinking I can never write a Pre-Tr or TR cause it just won't be as good. Love you Guys!

By the way, nice to meet you as I have been lurking on your pages and hadn't said HI yet.!. :rolleyes1

party::welcome:party:
:worship::worship:I am always amazed when people tackle my previous PTR/TRs

Nice to meet you too.

Hello Jordan, For starters, did you wear the black and white plaid chonies in the upper right corner?
I have always wanted to try Kona, but we keep cancelling because it is too early. I always have the best of intentions to eat at 7 and make it to MK before rope drop, but we usually end up sleeping in!
It was so kind of you to try to give out the extra meals. We own a barbeque restaurant, and a few years ago our walkin cooler was damaged. We had cases of pork shoulder that we had to get rid of until we received a new cooler, the local shelters and food banks would not take them! They were still on ice and packaged too. Sometimes you can't win!:confused3

nope on the chonies.

the 9:40am time was perfect for us.

having worked for a restaurant, I know that many food banks can't take leftovers most of the time.:sad2:

Wendy So glad to hear your Dad is doing well!

Jordy Great update! No Tongo Toast for me-bananas YUCK. I am impressed that you got up and ready that early!

Feb sounds good for a SOLO trip!!

I can't believe i got up that early....it may happen again before the trip is over......;)

Feb is becoming a must do for 2012.

Hey Jordan,
Side note here, or more a question. To prepare for the crowds at WDW you did what? Star in the Batsu!! Church Camp Edition!? That was hilarious. What a trooper you are taking a beating to save the kids from one. :thumbsup2

Ummmm.....I have no idea what you're talking about....;)

we had fun making the video, but I was hurting the next day.

I'm not a for sure for Peepfest, but I'm certainly a "want to" :lmao: I would be doing just the land portion and it would probably be me and Maddie - DH would stay home. All those June dates are late enough for Maddie to be out of school :thumbsup2
:thumbsup2

Thanks for replying.

Oooooo... we'll probably be at WDW next February. But I suspect we won't arrive until the 28th - we usually visit DH's brother the first weekend then arrive in Orlando on either late Sunday or early Monday. :confused3

2012.:)

The housecoat is just strange

Pole dancing on the monorail :lmao:

It was strange.

It was the first of MANY poles. You'd be surprised. They're everywhere.

Glad you made it to Kona...because we sure didn't. We had a breakfast ADR there, too, and well...sleep was a little more tempting that particular morning!

That's why I never schedule breakfasts....sleep is more important

hmmmm..... I'm not sure what to make of this. I hope that's not what I look like from the back....

Don't worry...you don't.

What's sad is that she probably didn't even "pose" this picture. She thought she was just taking a nice, regular old picture, and here you go making pole jokes! :rotfl2:

she did pose...:rotfl2:

Sooo...I pitched the idea to Lumar tonight about a possible trip in February (or March) 2012 for HIS birthday which is March 6. He totally went with it! Imagine my surprise when I find out that you guys will happen to be there as well, having a mini-peepfest? :rolleyes1 That last week of Feb. would be awesome. We would go for just a week instead of our normal 10-day routine but it would be a fun time and we should still be able to go back in October for our usual run. Looks like it's a go at this point! :thumbsup2

The dates may work out even better for you. I'm thinking the 24-1st.....

Put us down for the WDW portion of Peepfest in June -- I don't see us swinging both WDW and a cruise.

8:19 is pretty good considering you didn't go to sleep until 3:00.

Mmmm, Tonga Toast! Love it! Sorry it was a bit too rich for you!

Looking forward to hearing the cab story on Cherie's PTR. $31 is craziness!

I kinda knew June would work for you.

I was impressed with myself.

It had a hard time working through my system as well...:rolleyes1

Cherie has great cab stories....

Okay I am confused is PeepFest in June or Feb ???????

both.

Nice pole dancing Winkers!!

OH MY!! I would SO be up for a Feb trip over June. Being there in late June (close to the 4th of July) with a 2 yr old makes me feel several ways...... :headache: :scared: :scared1:
14.gif

But a not as busy, less expensive time, not nearly as hot has me thinking happy thoughts.....::yes:: :yay: :woohoo:
5.gif
:thumbsup2

Just overall.......

I need to see what Dawn thinks.....
Matt may be totally up for going but I know he will not be interested in discussing any trip that will be 2 years from now
:woohoo::woohoo:

I may have to extend the trip a bit in feb....

That is too funny! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I am confused like Rosie, but I don't put salt on my pancakes! :confused3

I'll probably do 2 trips. one in feb and one in june.

Ahhh, a little food porn to add to this phenomenal report. Look forward to the next update.

thanks senor.

Morning my friend! Hope all is well out your way. (Actually I hope you're still sleeping as you seem to have a long day ahead of you.) How is the remodel coming along? We are about to start one ourselves, though not quite as extensive. (Mainly re-carpeting the sanctuary and turning two small classrooms into one big one.) I am NOT looking forward to it. And to make matters more joyful someone hacked the church website Sunday night and tried to use it to sell pirated software from Russia. Nice. Luckily our ISP discovered the hack and locked the site down. BUT they left it up to us to unscramble the mess. It took a couple of days, but we're finally back up and running. I'm filling in for Pastor Rick this Sunday so that will be cool, but again, you know how it is when the Pastor's gone...the staff gets hammered. (Hammered as in flooded with work, not hammered as in lingering too long at Petals...although that might help improve things a little bit. I may have to bring that up in staff meeting.) Anyway, take care brother and try not to tire yourself out too much. I despise committee meetings so I'm TOTALLY feeling your pain.

But they're so much fun! Who doesn't like to play Devil's advocate, just for fun!

Sorry to hear about the hack!! Glad you have an "on top of it" ISP!!

Good luck on the remodel, GB. In THAT, I feel your pain.

Sometimes I think the devil's there in person so I don't have to advocate. :rolleyes1 We've had good luck with our ISP and it's cheap ($5 a month with more storage and bandwith than we'll ever need + unlimited email accounts.) So that's a bonus. But, they only host. All the site building and maintanence is up to us to do. Which can be good or bad depending on how you look at. About a year ago I swapped us over to a Joomla based site. It took a while to set it up, but it is much easier to manage now than just a plain HTML based site. DOH! I'm babbling techo again. Sorry. It happens. Hope you have an awesome day in Blankastan! May your weather be mild, your pipes flow freely and your camels free of spittle.

Do you want to feel the flying experience on the land? I can give you the pleasure.of controlling the real airplane.
Good operating performance and perfect flight attitude, which can take you into blue sky.

no way you could switch?

well when my parents take us they have to go in June when the ladies are done with teaching at school. my mom and sister.

candis parents are going with us that year, and we dont want to go the same time as my parents they get along, but then her parents would feel like they have to do everything my parents want and candis are more laid back. like her dad would be fine at the pool all day for 2 weeks.

so we are going to go with them when the crowd level is a little lower in Oct. and cheaper then also.

plus we really want to hit the food and wine festival.
