I just can't believe you're still single. You're a complete package...funny, one with your faith, lover of Disney, hot, sweaty... Hmmm...maybe it's the sweaty part.

It might be because of talk of a murse--joking!! I'm sure there are a lot of lurkers out there thinking the same thing. My ESP tells me someone is going to contact Jordy soon.

Because California is SO diverse, it's so weird that there's still racism and prejudice out there. Although, did you know Asians are all leery of each other?

The glasses story is funny.. I wonder if your mom would secretly be laughing.... I used to break mine all the time too. I went through 6 pairs in 18 months....parents NOT happy.

So...no baby yet?

My thoughts exactly...so strange that racism and prejudice exist in California, which I see as a huge melting pot.

I went through glasses like crazy as a kid and then when I got contacts (before disposables), I lost those all the time too! I lost a couple contact lenses in the long jump pit in high school...can you imagine searching for a contact lens in a long jump pit? Well, I've done it!

No baby yet! Hopefully soon!

Anyways...on the last morning, we were praying for one of our college guys who is going to Japan this summer on a mission (less than 1% of Japan is christian making it the most unreached industrial country).

Really?? I had no idea! Are they mostly buddhist?

I don't know why, but that shocked me about the racist comments. Shocked and saddened. With California being so multicultural, you would think it would be a moot issue. Where's the love, people?!

Hey Wendy, you haven't mentioned how your eyes are doing now, a couple months post-lasik? Just went today for my 3 month follow up on my redo procedure. I'm still having issues.

My glasses were awful!!!! They were like a clear pink color.. Then I moved on to contacts. They didn't bother me, but after my laser surgery my eyes were singing to me like, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Thank goodness we dont' see them hardly anymore. Of course, that incident was in 1993.

lol!! I can't help it! I can't stand to see anyone being nasty or ugly to anyone else and I just have to say something!! I am very blunt and outspoken (which can be a bad thing).

Let me tell you this story of how outspoken I am...me, my mom, my sister, and Hollie were at the mall one day. Hollie was about 8 months old. WE got in the elevator and this teenage boy and his girlfriend got in with us. They were probably 15 and 14. Anyways, Hollie is waving and smiling at them and the girl is looking at Hollie like she is a germ or bug that is about to latch on her. She actually gave Hollie a dirty look!!! I immediately looked at my mom (who I can embarrass really easily) and said, "You know what bugs me?? People who are so rude that when a small baby looks at them and smiles, they look at the baby like its gonna eat them or that the baby is a germ. That bugs me!" Then I looked at this girl and said, "When my baby smiles and waves at you...you smile and wave back if you want to keep your limbs attached....got it???? Don't even look at my baby without so much as a huge smile on your face" OH MY GOSH....my mom was about to pass out!! My sister starts laughing and the guy is like uh oh.... But, I was still kind of hormonal and just could not understand why people are the way they are!!

I am telling you..crazy southern lady!!

Yes. In America, it's the same thing. I think only 10% of Japanese Americans are Christians. Most are raised Buddhists...

Hi Jordan, I used to go on retreats in High School and they were always fun, positive, and left me feeling calm inside. I went to Catholic School for 12 years so we prayed every morning at 7 and it really helped when things were feeling bad. I am so sad about the racism-I think you are so precious and honestly all Asians are so cute! My sister lived in Tokyo for 2 years and she said that she has never encountered more gentle, compassionate people as living there. People are just so ignorant, I guess you have to feel sorry for them-for not being as cool as you!
Two hours of prayer for you? Wow!
I think that a girl would be lucky to have you-you are so kind and funny and handsome, and very stylish.But, on a selfish side, you would not have any time for us.
