Seriously? Have you looked at the "Pictures of Things You Can't See at WDW Anymore" thread? I am probably in the top 5% of all people on this Board in terms of "number of times at River Country".

So they obviously know RC is there and wasting away. Does it get developed or forgotten? Seems like the wizards behind the scenes could salvage this area and turn it into something profitable and/or memorable.

Me & DH watched these videos last night, they were hard to watch as they're pretty shaky & these teens were being a bit annoying. I did see she posted another video that she's banned at WDW:

She totally needs to be banned just for being a bad spy, why would you use people's name, pics of your face & place it on your blog??? It seems disney told her if she takes the videos off her blog they will let her return to WDW.

Uggh. These kids are so obnoxious. I kept hoping the slide would break out from underneath them. They are from my neck of the woods, according to their high school t-shirts. Why in the world would you show your faces, wear high school t-shirts and use everyones names in the video?
Also, I like how in her "getting banned from Disney" video, she told everyone not to worry- she knows she's putting her life on the line, and risking everything to make these videos. Ugh- dumb!! I mean I get that teenage brains are still not fully developed and all but sheesh!

In its glory years back it was our favorite water park. But I think that since its base water support was the lake, it had to be closed due to that. Don't know this for sure but the Great Diser says "stay out of the darn lakes" so I assumed it was tied to that. I also assumed it would never come back as a water park. And I hate it sits in decay but I'd rather see them spend money elsewhere rather than demo it just to demo it. Probably makes a pretty good nature reserve. So I say quit taking aerial photos and stirring the pot. Let the old lady live in the memories it had since its sad to see it now.

No it only comes back with a number from 0 to 9,999

You get a trespass letter telling you to stay off their property. And they take your picture, if they don't already have it.

Facial recognition software is getting very good at comparing faces in a database, and the number of people banned from Disney properties can't be all that large.

There was a death there from this organism but it happened 21 years before it closed.

These are two of the reasons listed but I think that after TL and BB were built, RC was just not needed.

RC was a poor design for the times, very small and hard to get to.
