My mug is somewhere on this thread, at the last DisMeet. Zanzibar is also in that picture. Minniemum was taking the picture. 2 out of 3 ain't bad.....

ANZAC DisMeet in Melbourne





Welcome to what is likely to be the first Anzac DisMeet!


It was held on a typical Melbourne morning; cloudy with lots of mizzle and clear blue sky with sunshine.....all within a space of 10 minutes.



Attendees for the ANZAC meet were:
CarolineNZ, FairyFloss, Mr FairyFloss (aka Security aka Chauffer), Zanzibar, PiO (at the back) and by virtue of the fact that she was photographer....MinnieMum.

(NOTE: Little MinniemumMe aka MinnieMum's DD was also present and in attendance at stage left.)

Leading the fashion stakes is FairyFloss who was...er....brave...enough to walk the streets of South Yarra complete with Minnie Ears!
Zanzibar and I also pitched up with Disney t-shirts (yes, I DID wear black).

Our meeting spot was fashionably up-market.

The coffee was very very good....so thanks to MinnieMum for suggesting this spot.

Service was a bit slow; but the food....well.....let's just take a look.


The Big Breakfast.

Pulled Pork sanger.

Scrambled Eggs.

Fruit Salad with yoghurt.

Ricotta Hot Cakes.

I think we all had a great time. As always, we talked a million miles non-stop about all things Disney, travel and even about trip planning.

Thanks PIO for the fabulous DISmeet report and of course CarolineNZ for providing us with the excuse to make it happen!

For nearly 3 hours we chatted about Zanzibar's recent snow white European adventure, photography, market shopping, Melbourne, past holidays (loved the photo books Fairy floss) and future holidays (CarolineNZ, PIO, Zanzibar and I). We even put our uber planning skills to the test and traded tips for Fairy floss's impending WDW. All in all, a great way to spend a Saturday brunch. In case you're interested, we've slated another DISmeet for Fairy floss's post WDW review.
