AWW!!! the Small World ringtone made Sis cry!! I feel bad!!

there this guy that always comes to Lowes to buy roses and he has 2.. a brother and sister... and they are fat... I love em! hes one of those old guys that will talk FOREVER if you let him so I always go up to him and start asking about his rose garden and pet the doggies while he talks!! he called our customer care line about me saying that he enjoys coming to Lowes to talk to me and he will continue to go to Lowes just to talk to me, because Home Depot has better roses.. so the managers dont get mad at me if I spend a half hour talking to him... one day he went to the customer service desk and asked for the store manager and told him that he wants me pulled off the register and he wanted me to shop with him! so I got to walk around and talk to him for 2 hours... its people like that that make it worth it to go to work!

That's pretty cool. Does he spend a ton of money there?

I can send you all kinds of ringtones... it just sends them as a sound and there is an option to save as ringtone.. i dont know of any other phone that does that!!

I was just reading another thread a nd came across it on embarassing moments..

is it me or is 3 a little too old to be nursing?? I can't help it, but I think it is gross....

The nursing doesn't disgust me but the fact that she let her daughter run around in a dress with no underwear on bothers me a lot!

I tried to sell the kid's version in our yard sale and nobody even looked at it. It even makes noise when you press the hand. We just get the worst yard sale traffic here. If we had the right customers we could have easily made $400.

So, I was just explorng the Thomas the Tank Engine website to find out when the Thomas Train will be in Straussberg, PA and saw it will be there next week, sept, and the weeken of Nove 30th, which is right after DS bday.

So, I was thinking instead of doing a bday party, as he has so many toys and trying to do it out somewhere is such a pain as he is in that not listening stage...LOL

I thought me and DH would buy tickets and take him to ride the Thomas Train, plus a regular excursion, plus you can take picture with the conductor character, face painting,etc...

That would be his bday gift....

The day of his bday, we of course would have a cake for him and balloons..

what do you all think?

Sounds good to me! He's not old enough to know about missing a party. When DS was five I gave him the option of having a party or just the four of us spending a couple of hours at Chuck E. Cheese. He went for the Chuck E. Cheese idea but then on his birthday he asked where everyone was. He missed the chance to have company. Now, for his 8th birthday we had a rollerskating party and he really wanted some expensive Lego. I told him that we could have skipped the party and I would have just given him $100 to buy his present. He said, "Oh, let's do that!" We had already invited everyone so it was too late but I said he could do it next year.

ok.. on the text message thing...

I have Verizon and when you text someone there is a little box next to their name when you look in your sent message... when you send it there is a green arrow that point up and to the right... well if the person has Verizon when they open the text the arrow turns into a check mark! but its only with people with verizon.....


so I know when Sis or Parla reads a text...


so when I call Butthead and he doesnt answer instead of a voicemail I text him... if he reads it I know if hes just ignoring me!

I think that's just on the better phones because mine doesn't have it.

Well, now that I look at my outbox it does show little checkmarks on an envelope so maybe I just never noticed it. The ones I sent to Skittle with a code in them don't have checkmarks but Skittles already told me that I didn't win.
