I thought it was very unfair of Vicki to put Tamra in that position. And I do think it was weird that they picked the dumbest person in that group to show that report to. I mean I'm sure if Gretchen and Alexis were still around, they probably would have been called!!! I thought that doctor was hokey. It didn't even look like a medical office. It looked like they threw an exam table in one of Vicki's offices. The whole thing seems weird.
Heather was on WWHL last night. I didn't catch all of it because I fell asleep but I thought I heard her call Brooks' medical document a "mock-ument".

If Brooks was truly bothered by all the negative attention, he'd call Terry. He'd give Terry access to his records.
But, instead he calls Dr. Tamra, and has her attempt to read the "proof". Sheesh. It's a train wreck.

Is it me or is the the worst season EVER???

The Brooks drama is too much. If he is lying, that is despicable. If he isn't, it is so very sad and terrifying. I just don't want to hear about it anymore it is so depressing to me.

The depressing story line of Vicki's mom suddenly passing away. It was tough to watch her reaction and her grieving.

LeeAnn and her battle (I understand she has since passed away and it just breaks my heart to see Haley struggle with her moms terminal illness on camera)

Shannon and David struggling in their marriage. Granted, things do look better for them, but in the beginning it was hard to watch Shannon unravel and weep and deal with it on camera.

Plus I find Tamras whole religion thing boring. And I just find Heather and her "poor me I have to manage and decorate a multi-million dollar house! I am spending millions and millions decorating and Teri just does not understand the stress I am going through! Life is hard!"

I don't know, but the show just has a different "feel" this season and I don't like it.

The whole Brooks thing is so odd. He looks very healthy for someone battling cancer, but I can't say I've personally known anyone with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. They sure are dragging out this storyline. Is he full of crap or not???

Why is Liz even on the show? She has zero storyline and is not interesting at all. At least it is slightly amusing watching the dynamics between Meghan and her husband (he doesn't seem to like his wife much).

also-when "the girls" got together for Tamera to tell them what Brooks medical report said....Meghan had ALREADY researched the medical place and knew that they hadn't done that test for the last 8 or so years.....

Vicki had sent them all a group text stating that Brooks had the PET scan at that place. So Megan had the name of the place.

It seems the questions really started because of how the ladies think Brooks doesn't look like someone who has cancer. Meghan is going by what she sees happenning with Leann. There are so many different types of cancer so comparing one person with one type of cancer to someone with a different type does no good. Even with treatments, you can't compared how people react to different treatments.
After reading a little about non Hodgkin's lymphoma, I'm not really sure they have as much of a basis for questioning Brooks as Meghan thinks.

It really wasn't about how he "looked" to me. It was that everything about his treatment program was weird.
People with serious, life threatening disease like cancer don't have their treatment plan managed by a GP. And they usually don't seek treatment from Dr's that specialize in things like cellulite. Ugh.
And the list goes on and on....I'll stop here.

If he wanted to shut down the discussion, he's grab discharge papers from office visits and treatments, or even an Estimation of Benefits from his insurance. Truly sick people accumulate stacks of those kinds of papers. And he'd have that discussion with Terry, not Tamra.

The other option, his attorney would have a serious talk to Bravo. Not a word of something like happening at this point either.

Brooks gains nothing by lying. Vicki stands to lose quite a bit. Bravo is beyond disgusting, if the ran with an entire season on fake cancer. It's not drama, it's sick and crossing the line. IMO

This storyline is a bit difficult for me. I was my grandmother's caregiver for several years. She beat breast cancer and never "looked" sick. She was diagnosed with colon cancer last year and passed away 13 months later. She didn't "look" ill to many, although the cancer metasphized to her liver and probably throughout her body. She was up rolling around in her wheelchair and visiting neighbors, until the day before she died. She didn't miss a minute.

I think of my shock, struggle and finally grief, over my grandmother's illness and death, so I've given Brooks and Vicki the benefit of any doubt. Meghan has especially disgusted me. She's devoid of any sensitivity, towards those suffering. She made LeAnn Edmunds Horton's death ALL ABOUT MEGHAN. IMO

Could not agree more. It seems so fake and scripted to me. I realize it never really was a true "reality" show, but they've really taken it over the top.

I really don't know what to believe about Brooks. On one hand, Vicki has said that she has been to one of his chemo appointments and I just can't believe she'd make that up. Also, when they show Brooks talking to the camera about not being believed about his cancer, he does seem righteously angry. On the other hand, he is a shady character. Also, I agree with the rest of you about why would they show the medical report to Tamara of all people? I admit, I paused on the report on my DVR several times and it said "Chest CT: Normal". Then it goes on to talk about a mass, however, I don't think "mass" necessarily means cancer or even a tumor. It just seemed off to me, especially the doctor. However, on the other hand again, I thought it was weird that Megan said that Newport Imaging didn't do PET scans. An entire health care center devoted to imaging wouldn't perform one of the most common types of imaging services? As far as what types of imaging they do for non-Hodgkins lymphoma, I wouldn't know, but I think it would be based on the doctor's orders, not some random person answering the phone at the imaging center. So that's kind of weird to me, as well. I really don't know what to believe.

Tamara and the baptism/religion stuff. Oh brother. Don't even know what to say about that.

I'm tempted to buy one of Terry/Heather's skincare products. Anyone else?

If Brooks actually had a professionally done scan with results like masses, it would be a good idea for him to get a consult with a board certified oncologist, rather than seemingly kindly GP. Any decent GP would say," I'm referring you. Today. This is way out of my area of expertise."

And Vicki? What is she sitting in that office for? To enable him to stick his head in the sand, or is she just playing along with the little fib game. I don't know which it is, but it's ugly stuff, either way.

It sounds like he's repeatedly fought this cancer and now its back again. If he's already done chemo, as he says, and it's not helping, why not give something else a try?
There appears to be several different conventional treatment options for non Hodgkins lymphoma, including doing nothing and just monitoring it. If he happens to be at a point in his treatment where his doctors have decided to wait and see what's going on, it doesnt seem completely crazy for him to give some alternative treatments a try.
Apparently there is some talk of reservetrol (did i spell that right?) being useful in fighting cancer. Now that might end up being a bunch of hokey nonsense but if he's been dealing with this reoccurring cancer on and off for years, I can see him saying why not give it a shot while in a transition period in his treatment.

she won't need to-it's been reported that brooks already filmed a private sit down interview w/andy cohen about the cancer and the break up that will be aired as part of the reunion.
