Leeches is what the dimwit doctors in the 1700's used to "cure" people

Doctors are using leeches now for many things. I wouldn't do it but it has helped burned victims.

I am one that likes Vicki and I think she's on to something with Meaghan. I don't think Meaghan cares about Brooks, I think she wants to prove him and Vickie as liars. I'm with Vickie, 5 years Jim and Meaghan will be divorced.

Shannon, even though I like her she is getting on my nerves. However, I disagree with others on here that she should be over it now. I was cheated on and there are so many triggers, it's ugly for at least a year. From my understanding, they are started filming a month or 2 after the affair was revealed so Shannon was still new to this. It takes a while but oh well, the person who cheated should understand their life is going to be miserable for a while while the trust is trying to come back. Shannon should not be concerned with what David is thinking about her right now as he did it to himself. I do agree, they told their kids too much.

Meghan basically said just that in the car . she said she cares because justice cares and that Vicky is a con artist.

It's not exactly accurate to say Meghan didnt say Brooks is lying about having cancer. She didnt come right out and say those words but during that conversation at the gym, she certainly insinuated it.
That whole conversation was about questioning if he really has cancer. Shannon was the only one to really stand by Brooks.
Heather and Tamra were very wishy washy, especially Tamra. I think Tamra doesnt believe he has cancer but she's got Meghan to bring it up and take all the heat.

Leeches stimulate blood flow, they also use maggots to remove decaying flesh - some of the old school remedies do actually work. Both are FDA approved btw.

ITA - they should never have brought the kids into it, just ridiculous. I do think that maybe she should have bowed out or reduced her role this season. Healing in a spotlight - yeah, not so much. I am 5 years out from infidelity & it still can be there with certain triggers, not as bad & not as much

Meghan had the most to say. The others were dancing around it and going back and forth. Meghan wasn't. Even when they started talking about not being able to imagine someone doing that, she was right there with the story of her co-worker.

Yuuup! Shannon accuses people of pot-stirring but I see she certainly has stirred a lot of crap herself. She isn't innocent in this. If I had to have a drinking game where Shannon cries I would be blind drunk.

My theory is that although Tamra isn't saying a thing to Vicki about Brooke's cancer she was talking to *someone* and that someone is the psychic. So, Tamra takes the psychic to her little ladies' lunch, the psychic says what Tamra has been going on about and she doesn't get the blame. However, the seed of doubt is planted and while Heather wouldn't say anything, Megan does. Tamra is in the clear but has started her batch of drama. Now she isn't in the hot seat but the new mean girl, Megan is and she will have her beef with Vicki.

When they are used for real medical purposes, totally understand and totally onboard.

But having them placed all over your abdomen to achieve a rosy glow to your skin? Crazy to me. I'm vain, but I have limits. This is one.

Good for Vicki...and a good rule of thumb moving forward is that if your child doesn't like the man you are dating and has good reasons not to, then maybe he is not the man for you.

Supposedly what they are after is the enzyme that the leeches add to the blood after they ingest it. That enzyme is what they want to put on their faces but the only way to get it is to let the leech attach, suck blood, then detach it and essentially squeeze the blood and enzyme mix back out and smear it on the face.

It's ridiculous what people will do for "a youthful glow." Shows how insecure these people are.
