Oh, I'd love to see an opera.
I want to stay there for like a few weeks and go a lot of places.
That's gonna be a lot of money.

Yea, it's pretty expensive, especially in Milan.
But if you find a good place to stay that isn't expensive, like a hostel, and then even take a train places, which is a good way to see things as well since you can look out the window and avoid crowds that way.
But the closer the hostel or place you stay at is to a large city, the more expensive it is, that's why it's good to go not too far away, but not too close.
Also, cycling around the cities are nice ways to see things too, and it's exercise.
Florence and Friuli are also nice places to go.

Is it alright to walk or is it too crowded?
Well I guess it would be harder to cycle through a crowd than walk.
I plan on walking and/or taking local transportation most of if not all the time.
I figure if I start saving up now I can get the money that I need if I can find a job soon.

If you're in a large city, walking is better, if you're in any other city, you'll be fine with a bike.
Just so you know, in public places washrooms are VERY different, even I don't use them.
And you sometimes have to pay, depending on the place.
So always use them before you leave.
But if you do have to, try and find a train station that you have to pay, because they'll usually have CLEAN washrooms and they wont have the creepy toilets.

Pay to use the bathroom.
Lol.

I hate our public washrooms too, so I'll have no problem avoiding them.
Thanks for the tip. :goodvibes

Do you know anything about the Accursio in Milan?
Do more people speak English or Italian?

I have lots of questions. (:

The hotel?
I've heard, but I haven't gone to any hotels in Milan, just seen them.
And most people speak both, but pretty much everyone speaks Italian.
In stores, bars, and restaurants most people also speak English.
It would be good to learn a few phrases and carry a pocket dictionary around.

I've got to go now though, but if you want just PM me any other questions.

... Anyone ever been to Japan and used a "Squat" toilet?
Yeah, I was only 3 but they're the weirdest things eveerrr.

Yeah... that's a good enough reason for me xD
It's funny the things I remember from when I lived in Tokyo.. and that happens to be one of them, lol.

Yeah.
I plan on trying to learn some before I go, just making sure that if I have trouble people will still be understand me somewhat.

Okay. Goodnight.
Thanks. :goodvibes

Lol. I'm not going yet, Ally's probably going to bed since it's like 2:30 over there I think.

I was saying goodnight to her. :p

I need to get sleep for my #&^#O%&#)&$% finals tomorrow that I'm going to fail even though I've studied all weekend for them.

A pit in the floor with a drain that you have to stand over to pee.
I don't remember if there's anything more complex to it than that xD
That's a squat toilet. I was little but I guess you'd have to take your pants off now that I think of it, lol.
