I am rarely confused w/ the voice of reason (and not sure I want to be, particularly where Disney is concerned!) but if something is holding you back from booking the extra night maybe that's the right thing to do. I'm sure the "extra" $ can be put to a good use during your regularly scheduled trip.

And remember, any way you slice it, next week at this time you'll be in WDW!!!!

So I just caught up and see the possibility of getting there a day early. DO IT!!!!! Then I can live vicariously through you. Tim and I were just saying we wish these 8 days would just zoom by so we could just BE THERE! If we got that money we would not have hesitated. Dying to know your decision. Either way, YOU ARE SO CLOSE!!!!

I just can't seem to decide...but like you said, no matter what, we will be there in one week!!! And then you will be arriving soon after!!! Can you just taste the Disney excitement at your house as well???

Well well well.... here I am, dear Jackie, always wishing I were 1/2 as organized as you are, and I've finally discovered the one downfall of such superior organizational prowess-

the inability to drop 24 hours of organization with only a few days to decide!

Well, no matter what you decide- you're still so close! Either 6 or 7 days away! So yay for that, nonetheless!

See, there is a dark side to being too organized. I keep setting myself these Cinderella-type tasks: if I do this and this and this, then we can go a day early. It's surely a sign of OCD or something.

Agghhh, I want to...I really, really, really want to. It rained here this evening, and it reminds me so much of one evening when it rained last June and afterwards the kids and I walked the grounds and bought cookies at the food court.

I think she is ignoring us! Either that or she is in frantic get ready mode so she can leave a day early.

I would never ignore my DIS pals!!! I did do quite a bit of trip stuff today -- I will update later on all of it.

Usually the voice of reason at our house is drowned out by the Disney clamor, so I am not sure what the deal is this weekend. Good point that either way the money will definitely be put to good use!

I've decided you should do something spectacular with the extra money rather than an extra day.... like rent a yacht or boat during wishes or whatever rediculous splurges they show on the Travel Channel that we all wish we could do.....Get a tour or something.... rent some jet skis.....

Or just add the day to the end instead of the beginning so you aren't so stressed about this.....

Uh oh.... I'm gonna get booed.... or hit.... (not by you, CP, by the masses!

I couldn't resist updating since we are six days away from our summer vacation to the place where dreams come true!

The extra night is on the back burner for now. I haven't completely decided against it, but I am going ahead as if we are leaving on Sunday. I may end up adding the extra day on the other end of the trip since it would give us a full day to use our seventh day on the tickets.

Yesterday, I did quite a bit in the way of trip preparations. I emptied all three of the trip drawers and started sorting all of it into piles. I went ahead and packed some of the toiletries and medications that we won't be using in the next week. I put all the guidebooks we are taking into a pile, tied my LGMH onto the camera bag, and packed the pool bag. The last thing I did, yesterday, as far as packing, was sort Connor's clothes into day-by-day stacks and put them into ziploc bags (thanks to all the people who did that before me -- I totally stole it from y'all).

Also, I went to Steve Soares' site and wrote down the times for Indiana Jones and the Festival of the Lion King into the Passporter (those are our two must-see shows). I also printed off the schedules for all the World Showcase and Animal Kingdom entertainment -- I figured those times won't change much in a week. I would like to catch Off Kilter while we are at Epcot, and a lot of the African-type entertainment in Harambe. I think the kids and Charles would enjoy seeing all of that, too.

Today, we ran some errands. I dropped off some prescriptions that need to be filled, dropped off our library books, and went to Target to get a travel curler set and white polo shirt (for Connor). So, all that can be crossed off the list. The more stuff I cross off the to-do list, the closer we are to WDW!

I just found your PTR a few days ago and have been lurking since ! I just felt compelled to post because I am so excited that your trip is so close! We live fairly close to WDW, but don't have a trip planned until December. So I plan to enjoy all the great pics I'm sure you'll take and just live vicariously through you!

I am thinking of trying the ziploc idea for the clothes, I think I could do it for Joey with out much problems, but not sure with the girls.. (we always tend to over pack b/c you just never know)

6 days!!! I am sure at some point we will come on over to PFQ and check out your pool too
I'll need to be on the look out for some lime green mickey heads
Note to self get to home depot and get some to add to our bag etc..
