we just got back from the Disney store to get our gift cards, the kids wanted to buy everything there! I was like NO way are we buying anything here and spending that money now! TRUST me YOU WILL find stuff there!!!

Hurray for 10 days. Daisy had her ortho consult yesterday, and goes in for her molds tomorrow. Joey has his ortho consult next week.

10 DAYS!!!

Chelsea is going for an orthodontist consult this afternoon, so they can tell us what we already know -- for $4000 she needs braces. Sadly, my first thought when I type that is, "I could stay at a deluxe for that!"

Congrats on the 10 days! I wish I were that close! Wait, no, I don't wish that. I have SO much to do between now and August! I don't want to think about it.

Trip drawers - now that's novel! Maybe I can find an empty drawer or two around our house for those!

On the ortho - consider yourself lucky. ours was almost 50% more than that price! That's Deluxe for another week! Fortunately our braces are paid for and now we're in the waiting game (which is KILLING Katie) of "when do I get them off?"

10 days, you are practically in single digits now! Very cool! I think you can officially start packing! That leaves you time to unpack and repack!

Ortho---ugh! Belle has had a retainer for a few years and thankfully it worked wonders and I think we'll be able to avoid them for her. Bashful has had an upper and lower retainer for a year now and while it is working and we see improvement I do think braces will be in her future. That is so a Disney trip!

We'll be there about the same time you are, we're coming on the 9th and will be staying at the Dolphin. My DH and I are bringing 3 DGD(grandaughters, yes, they are all girls ) with us. I need to start my pre-trip report soon, but I'm writing my dissertation over the next year so we'll see - my typing fingers are always tired. Lovin' reading your pre-trip report.

I can't wait, am already packed and I couldn't help but smile when I saw your pics of suitcases all layed out and ready. I still have to go get my Wal-mart snacks and I'll be all set to go.

Your comment about the $4000 for braces is too funny! I have to admit I tend to think about things like that too!
We could re-do our back yard and put in a new fence or we could go to disneyworld..............guess which one wins?

I started off with one trip drawer, and I keep adding. At this rate, I will need a trip room!

I am so obsessive that I find myself always converting expenses into, "At Disney this would pay for..."

I am not a believer in braces on baby teeth and luckily we found an orthodontist who is not a believer in that either. He said that since Chelsea has 11 baby teeth still, he doesn't want to do anything yet. He told me to bring her back in 9 months, but even then said it would probably still be too early. Whew! My Disney trips are safe for now!

I found a link on the DISigns board, but when I went over there, I couldn't find it again. I know I printed off a lot of it from mouseforless, though. They have tons of words searches, puzzles, etc. And I found a bunch of coloring pages on the Disney website. Hope that helps!
