OK. So I love Disney, everything Disney, for as long as I can remember. I have been to the World many times over my childhood and teen years, staying both off-site as well as at GF and CR. I have great memories of hours spent in the Contemporary Arcade with my little brother with rolls upon rolls of quarters (does that arcade still exist?), going up and down the concierge elevator in the GF just because we could (I mean as a kid, who could ask for anything more cool than a private elevator), and all of the Magic the parks have to offer. Magic Kingdom is by far my favorite park, not sure why, maybe it's the chills I get each time I walk down Main Street and see Cindy's Castle in the distance.
Well, I met my Prince Charming and we were married about 4 years ago. Unlike me, he had NEVER-EVER been to WDW, and to my shock, I mean utter-shock, he had no interest. WHAT???? I married a man who had no interest in the Mouse, how could that be? Well, fortunate for me, that would change, and his parents influence def helped. They also love WDW, and in fact are DVC members. They have been going for years, w/out their kids...
During the Fall of 2006, we collectively (me, MIL, & FIL) convinced DH to take a trip down. I ended up being preggo for the trip, 13 weeks to be exact, and my morning sickness and hormones kicked in the first morning of our trip. Let's just say that I got to know the porcelain in the SSR bathrooms very well that trip, if you know what I mean.

We also happened to be there during the coldest week FL has ever had in the history of all history, I mean really, it was so cold that we all had to buy gloves and fleece jackets, and it was actually warmer back home in the NorthEast!!! That, however, did not stop me from eating Peppermint Ice-Cream in DTD, and then of course, throwing it up! We went to
MVMCP and I ate my fair share of Snickerdoodles, actually, at one point, I stationed myself right outsided a cookie station while the rest of the troops ran around to ride the rides, and I ate cookie after cookie. In EPCOT, while everyone rode Soarin' I sat on a shady bench and ate ice-cream. While in AK, they rode the Safari and I ate fresh fruit and pizza! If I wrote a trip report for that one, it would have been, "How Baby and I Ate Our Way Around the World...and Guide to the Shadiest Benches!" If my in-laws wrote a trip report, it would have been, "Don't Take Your Pregnant DIL to Disney Unless You Plan on Being Heavily Medicated!" On the last day of our trip, I told my in-laws, "I don't want to step foot on Disney property until my unborn child is at least 5, if then!" I was quite a piece of work that trip, but luckily I could blame the pregnancy stuff on all of my outbursts. Now, you would think that DH would surely not ever want to return, but he had such a blast

that he would talk about how he couldn't wait to go back with the baby so we could spoil him rotten with balloons, and junk food, and souvenirs?????!!!
Our DS was born Spring of 2007 and no sooner did MIL & FIL want to initiate the little guy w/ a First Trip at 5.5 mo. I thought long and hard about it, for about 3 minutes and said, sure, let's go! So, 1 mo later, and some yucky ressies later, off we went to BWV for a week! Good times, but DH decided he wanted to experience Disney w/ out his parental units.
Spring of '08, DH says, "Why don't you see what you can pull together for an 8 day trip in 2 weeks from now?"? Are you kidding me, 2 weeks, ugh!! So, 2 weeks later, we were at AKL, upgraded from a standard view to a Savanah view, with an 11.5 mo, and a ton of great ADR....We had a good time until our 3rd day when DS woke up in the middle of the night w/ a 104* temp!

My poor little baby....Not good! Ended up being a ear infection, poor little thing, but we missed a good portion of the trip taking care of our little prince. DH decided there had to be a make-up trip and I swore I would not go back until he was at least 2. I actually made DH promise. I'm sure you are all wondering what the heck I was thinking saying something like that, I wonder myself, and still don't know, but as you will find out, I can not resist a WDW vaca., I just can't do it.
So, fast forward 3 whole months, and a few days ago I get an email from MIL saying, "Disney called, they want their baby back!" (haha) I dismissed it....but secretly she called DH and they made the plans for 6 days at BWV w/ DP (not free because of DVC) and he booked air. OK, so we're going back, I'm not sure about this, what about ADR's, what about trpocial storms, what about the heat and our 14 mo, what about packing?????????
Cast of characters up next...........
