Is that the biggies- yachts, Shula, steakhouse 71 really only have steak on their dinner menus. (Narcoossees is closed on our trip)
What other restaurants that are not the biggies have a really good steak but also something for the non steak lover?

Le Cellier and Topolino's have other then steak on their menues.
Thanks I did look at those but LeCellier only had an Impossible option and 1 other option a fish one with it not being one I would eat.
Topolinos only had a filet minion at dinner and breakfast I couldn’t get but do have an alert on. I have heard the breakfast steak is very good. And truth be told, my taste buds are not sophisticated enough for the other options on that dinner menu.
Wondering if I’m missing a great steak option at a not traditionally known for but generally all around good restaurant.

Actually I just looked at The Boathouse looks good. Wondering if anyone can recommend their steaks

California Grill is coming to mind. My parents were there about a month ago, raved about the steak option currently being offered, but still tons of other non steak options on the menu.

SH71 has several non-steak options, but limited. Looks like a chicken, a fish, and a veggie entree option.

Wanted this but 50 th menu only was not appealing to me

Thanks Everyone!!! I think I’m going with Steakhouse 71 — I found a photo of the Chicken Chasseur and it looks good to me!

What menu are you looking at? Topolinos has pasta, sole, scallops and vegetarian in addition to steaks. Le Cellier has only a fish and impossible dumplings option on their dinner menu, but they have lots of interesting appetizers that could go together to make a meal. That is something I often do.

Flying Fish and Topolinos immediately come to mind.

Me too. I think it’s one of the best steaks on property.

I also got a shockingly good steak at Big River Grille. I wasn't a huge fan of the restaurant after previous visits, but we stopped in on New Year's Eve, ate outside with no wait, and I had the most surprisingly delicious ribeye.

I had a very good steak at Flying Fish on my last trip.

The problem with steak restaurants is that they mostly serve steak?
Seriously? Thanks for your contribution.
The Boathouse is operated by the Gibson’s restaurant group. They operate a number of excellent Chicago-area steakhouse and fish restaurants. They know what they’re doing on both fronts.

The Boathouse is looking like an excellent choice.

Thank you, this is exactly the kind of input I was hoping for. Something I wouldn’t think of automatically but where everyone in the party could find something they would eat.

The salmon and crab cakes at Shula’s are very good. I agree with Flying Fish & Boathouse - good steaks but other good options as well.

You should be able to find a steak on most Disney owned menus and many others as well. I would look through the menus and see if you can find a place that fits everyone the menus are on the Disney website or Allears dot Net. (it will be removed if i write it the way it should be) With that I find the steak at Disney to be what is expected at a non steak house and to be very hit and miss. You may have a good steak one day and the next time it is OK. If you are looking for a better quality steak I would stick wit a NON Disney owned steak house such as Shulias or STK. My opinion, these days you are paying in the Mid 30s+ for an average quality steak might as well spend the extra and get a high quality steak where it will be prepared the way you want. STK has seafood Dishes and even a chicken Dish One could also order Lobster mac and cheese side which in many is served as meal these days. A side at a steak house is a table side and would easily be a meal for one. I am sure STK could alter some items as well being they have a linguini dish. They also have a kids menu with burgers and other items that will likely size up or include with other options.

Big River Grille is my least favorite Disney restaurant, and my bar isn't that high. Check recent reviews. Good for some beers only.

YMMV. We ate there again last night and my steak was delicious and my husband loved his black and blue burger. I did NOT like the plain burger and my husband did not like the mac and cheese we ordered previously.
