The Prisoner of Azkaban RP

OOC: I couldn't not.

Btw, my brother is on Wednesday, and I'm not going to see him for two years, so I'm not going to be on much until after then.

OOC: Oh wow, totally understandable.

OOC: I just remembered there was a Smith in the original forty. Evan was in the original forty!

OOC: *foams from the mouth and falls to the ground, twitching* I get weird when I think about that RP. I miss it.

OOC: There are just some threads that are dear to your heart and you have fond memories of. *shrugs*

OOC: Yeah. It's like those characters are a part of me.

OOC: Yeah, I've felt that before. It just didn't happen for me for that thread. Which is a shame really since a lot of the time there is. For my first thread, the original HPRP there was Max. For Revival, there was Crystal and Fiona. In SOD I suppose it's Natalie if its anyone and Anti it would be Karina if it was anyone. In COD...I don't know, probably Tiare if anyone. Hope of course for YA, and Mike, and Raven...basically everybody except Conrad. That's basically everybody, there's been other, smaller, shorter threads, but they didn't matter much. Chemical Alley...the entire reason I dropped Chemical Alley was because none of my characters panned out and thus I felt discluded and out of touch of the storyline. My characters in the Hogwarts RP were nice enough and it was easier in the beginning but as time went on things just declined. It was like it aged to me, they seemed less vibrant, less original, less interesting and it began to drag on for me.

OOC: Basically, any of the characters that I torture are me.

OOC: I wonder if I should be legitimately concerned or if I should just assume it's an esteem related thing

OOC: Oh, no, I don't torture myself for real. It's an esteem thing, definitely. XD I didn't realize how weird that sounded.

OOC: Playing hide and seek. I've got a moment

OOC: I just remembered there was a Smith in the original forty. Evan was in the original forty!

OOC: That is imposing.

OOC: Oh, no, it's more like an obsession.

OOC: That was great entertainment for my summer last year. Definitely the first two threads or so, those were my favorites.

OOC: Yeah. It's like those characters are a part of me.

OOC: Ah. See, you all know my spiel, but I'll admit it was an almost humbling experience, having a character like my Mel. It was a great escape from my troubles, because mine are light and hers were so much worse, but she was just one of those gold-hearted people. It was a great character to swim around in.

OOC: See, I was definitely more attached to the first two or so threads than any others. Or to the fourth, I suppose, but I definitely think that by the time we were into the seventh it got repetitive. And we weren't fixing anything, just trying to drag. We all know how that worked out.

Actually, one of my girls on this thread has a huge part of me that I did not intend to give; it gives me a larger insight on how she feels (remind me to kick myself later). But oddly enough, it's another character whose eyes I work and see through the easiest.

I've been working on more detailed histories if this RP lasts.

EDIT: for all of you on the app, is my siggie showing up weird?

OOC: Oh good. This probably won't help anything but I think you're a good writer

OOC: Thanks, Perry. That actually does mean a lot.

And yeah, Anney, the quote shows up every time you post.

OOC: As part of my post, or smaller, like yours?

OOC: I agree, if we had ever actually fixed anything the thread would have lasted a lot longer. In retrospect, I didn't really need Eddie, and Remy could have been such a cooler character if he wasn't limited by being Jolie's brother, as it kind of consumed him. However, I should have had him adopted by the Malfoys much earlier, it would have been so interesting to play. I should never have made Christine an adult when I brought her back. Emerald and Emmett were awesome villains, it's a shame I didn't do more with them. Ivy/Isabella just kept redefining herself, she got out of control. Kelsey was kind of unnecessary. I should have done more Luke/Darius, and Alexei/Anya bonding. David was unnecessary. I unfortunately really wasted my time with some of the things I did.

That's cool. Histories can be really interesting and really important, they define a lot about a character. LOL, some characters just sneak up on you and plant their feet firmly in your heart and won't go away.

You're welcome.

I'm not on the app but it shows up, I hadn't realized that was supposed to be in your signature

OOC:

Gabrielle could have been less messed up and stayed away from all that werewolf stuff.

Georgie should've just gone to Corbin instead of Evan in the first place.

Jolie should have stayed alive.

Nagini I actually liked, if I didn't keep her crazy.

OOC: Well, really, my only regrets were Corbin. I dunno what I was thinking, I knew Mel was too unstable for that whole thing and I did it anyway.
How terribly idiotic of me.

Oh, and you guys (it tried to autocorrect to drugs?) do realize that I am the whole reason Corbin exists. The whole joke about needing a counselor really sprouted.

OOC: Yeah, I remember that. It was a good idea, for a joke, he was just a bad counselor.
