What a great start! I was worried about Carol's first flight - that's great that she didn't have any issues with it!!

I can just imagine you seeing the 4 Albany people disembarking from the plane, knowing it's them, but there's that eensy weensy part of you saying to yourself - what if I'm wrong?

Jackets and long pants - doesn't sound like that's going to end up well!

Tracy I will be in Albany next Thursday !!I still have to find which Marriot and I need directions to it so I better call the BIG Boss on Monday for them!!

WRONG I have been at work went in at 6 am and just got home Fridays are my usual LONG day but this one was the longest!!!Tonight instead of Boweling we went to a Halloween Party at another Group Home !! It was awesome the Manager there and a staff did all the creative cooking I did take pix so will post when Phil helps me so ya'll blame Phil if they are not up !! Marv and him wood make a Dynamic Duo , he lives to pick on me !!!!!!! Apart from Katie having 3 seazures at it and in between diving into the food with her hands saying I Hungry!!It all went well !!!

Hi Jo !!! I need help with a link as always !!!! We had a great time !! It was very busy and we geared it too their wants , which for the most part were anything I suggested Surprisingly we all were pretty awake and couldn't wait to hit the parks !!

Hi Christine!! I can't get my pix uplaoded till I make all the copies for the memory books !!But I did call and leave Phil a message to help me early next week !! I wont be working much as I am going to Albany and those 3 days will count as 40 hours alone so basically I don't have to go in at all!! Ofcourse there are a few things I have to dobut I am not answering the phone, just doing paperwork and financials and EOM stufff !! I will still be able to flex over my extra hours so will have yet another short week!! I still have 4 weeks of vaction left as well !!! The 6 days I was gone only cost me 23 hours as I had worked extra the week before

Day one continues !!After getting a little organized in our rooms !! We caught our very first Disney bus !! Carol said for the first time " Lead the way " This was to be the theme of the trip and as you can well imagine with Rosie leading the way

Soon we were at DHS and we carefully explained the entering proceedure ..of course many of them did not open their bags at security , but I must say the guards were very nice about it !! Then for the first time they put their cards into the slot and attempted to put a finger on the little glass !! Once agin the CMs were sooooo patient . Eventually we are thru and had our first glimpse of

We headed over to Guerst Services ( Thank you Ellen) Explained we were travelling with a special neeeds group and there were 10 of us !! We did bring the whole gang in , so this may have helped !!Immediately another cm said give them 2 cards and put the escorts names on them !! Simple as that and we had what proved to be th making of our trip!!!!

So with GAC in hand we headed to The Great Movie Ride , showed those babies and were right in !! Like zero wait !!Carol was impressed and kept telling me let your friend know THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

Everyone loved the ride and we then headed over to 50's Prime Time Cafe !! This was the longest wait we had all the time and of course where disaster struck !!!Remember long sleeves etc !! Well first she said she was very thirsty and wanted ginger ale so I go to the bar and get her one !!but while I am there Carol frantically signals me and I rush off to the bathroom with her !! I think we made about 5 trips before we were eventually called !! I was sure it was the heat and overdressing so pushed her with fluids and took OFF her jacket !!She of course didn't eat any supper but the rest of us enjoyed it well maybe not me as I was up 2 or 3 times more to the bathroom with her !!

I had steak which was okay but with all the barfing I wa dealing with I sorta lost my appetite Carol said her pot roast was absolutely delish !!
I tried to get put in the corner by putting my elbows on the table which of course prompted others to follow suit !!Our server did however bring Grandma out to our table and she was hysterical !!The guys got a huge kick outta her !! It was one guys birthday and if he told us once he told as a thousand times so you know he told them at the restaurat he even asked the server if he had bought him a present The server was very good with him and bought him a Buzz Lightyear light up thing which thrilled him and he put a candle in his dessert and sang happy birthday so all was well !!!!!!!
After supper we headed back to the hotel with our puking miss !!They all got a lecture on dressing appropriately and from then on they did !!

Most of them just went to bed , but my one rolly polly barrell of laughs wanted to go swimming !! Carol went to the gift shop first and I joined her after I got rolly polly out of the pool!!

By now everyone was ready for bed and we had a fairly earlt night !!! So my plans for Fantasmic never happened and we didn't get to Spit out the fire !!Coming up Day 2 !!!

My first meet at a Panera I did not see a group that fit the bill at first, but then spotted a few women grouped together making plans for something, all with pen and paper in hand. I almost asked them if they were the ""happy hookers", but thought better of it and just asked if they were they crochet group. Well, they were NOT the Happy Hookers!!!!! WHew!
