The perfect proposal goes perfectly....wrong *COMPLETED!! 3-10-07*

Thanks for this great installment! :thumbsup2

We knew it wasn’t just us, either, because the poor guy that was in line directly behind them was leaving an especially large gap between them.

Yikes - I really feel for the people in front of them who couldn't leave a big gap....... :scared:

Whoo! I was wondering when another installment was coming up :) Great report, can't wait for AK!

How do you remember everything you did in such detail? seriouly... i just got back from WDW and i barley remember everything i did never mind details!

Mama Rose was one of the best WDW meals I had... I agree with you. I also had that amazing steak with a little blue cheese. What was that "cake" with it...grits... to this day i dont know but it was so good! I also loved the bread and those dips. What a great meal.

Star Tours is awsome! It never gets old. I usally go on it a few times but this past week was star wars weekend. Therefor a ride that never has a wait had an hour wait!

What a great way to start my crappy Monday morning. :thumbsup2

Thanks for writing! I'll be patiently waiting for AK :hyper: :goodvibes

I just sat down and resd this whole thread thru! It is really great! Keep it coming...and continue the saga of the ring-beautiful by the way! Angel

I just sat here and read your whole report too (although I'm at work with nothing else better to do so I guess that it's not THAT big of an accomplishment). You're such a great writer! :thumbsup2 I'm usually a TR snob and only read a few Dis'ers reports that I know. But I started reading yours and can't stop. It's addicting! I love reports that are just couples (as I don't have any kids and it's kind of irrelevant to read a report with kids). I'm hoping (forcing) my DBF will propose to me on our upcoming trip. You did a great job! I wouldn't have wanted my DBF to get down on one knee in front of a bunch of people either. Kind of brings too much attention to what's supposed to be a romantic and private moment. I look forward to reading more! :sunny:

Great report! :sunny: i like that romantic stuff and your sense of humour! Keep it up! :thumbsup2

Waiting for more popcorn:: ....

You realize making me wait this long for an update is like depriving a fish of water. Give me my fix. Pleeeeeeaaaaassssse. :bounce:

I hope we don't have to wait til after the wedding :bride: for another installment! :rotfl: :hourglass

Fantastic TR! You're witty and clever.

I read the title and looked at the author and thought, "Hey, I remember him."

Do you remember this thread? I posted on it a few times and I'm THRILLED to get to read the outcome.

Congrats. Can't wait to read the rest.

Ok, I just read through 23 pages and I'm all caught up. Love the trip report! Congratulations. Now....forget about that beautiful weather in Philly and get your priorities straight! Your public awaits :teeth:

I may be in the minority here, but I am HAPPY it is taking VW Guy an eternity to finish his trippie. There is nothing worse than finishing a good book, knowing it is over and there is nothing left to look forward to!

You have a terrific writing style & sense of humor! Congrats to you & your DF of your upcoming wedding! :thumbsup2

VW guy ....where did you go! I started reading this trip report BEFORE my dis vaction and that was over two months ago now! WE WANT....need....MORE!

Okay... don't throw anything...

:duck:

...I'm back.

I'm ashamed to admit that I forgot about the DIS for a while there...but I've returned humbly with my hat in my hand, hoping you will keep on with the story.

You may wonder where I went, and some of you might be guessing I took a six-week getaway down at our World away from the world, but you would unfortunately be wrong. Because we haven't quite reached the point where we can afford a Disney vacation every summer, (or to where DF can stand my craziness every single year) this summer we took a few weekends in a row to visit with family and/or horn in on thier vacations--which is where I have been for the past month and a half.

We started off with a long weekend in Pittsburgh, visiting with DF's family there and seeing a few sights. A few weeks after that, we flew out to Las Vegas to stay with my parents (along with most of the rest of my immediate family) in thier oversized time-share suite on the Strip. We have since spent the past few weekends meeting with all manner of wedding people, in an attempt to get everything as close to finalized for the wedding next summer before DF starts law school at the end of the month. So, with everything beginning to settle down, I realized there was something missing that I used to spend my downtime on, and came looking for this thread.

Unfortunately, I'm currently at work and don't have time to start writing right now, but...

:duck:

...uhh, I should be able to start back up again. Just thought you'd like to know...

bye.

Thank's for the update! :thumbsup2 I'm glad you came back and I look forward to the next installment (whenever that may be). Just don't completely forget about us! ;)

Finding it hard to contain my excitement. :Pinkbounc
