The People Mover!

We just returned from a fabulous week at Disney. One of our highlights was discovering the People Mover. I rode it as a child, but have ignored/forgotten it ever since.

My 3-year-old asked to go on and we were so pleasantly surprised by this ride! It goes faster than it appears to (especially in the corners) and it goes inside the back of Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear and other areas of Tomorrowland. My daughter enjoyed herself so much that we asked to stay on and go around again (which they allowed because there was no line).

This was a really great ride for our young daughter. She then talked her big sister into riding one night and it was even better in the dark.

This will be a new favourite. Who would have guessed

My DD8 loved it as well. I think we went on it 5 times over our two MK park days.

We always ride the TTA(People Mover). It's kind of a run of the mill attraction, but Disney makes it special. You can see some nice views of the park during the external part of the ride.

I stayed on 5 or 6 times while we waited for Wishes.

It's a great little ride and popular with DISers.

We love TTA. The best ride was when the lights were on for Space Mountain! very cool to see.

My family LOVES LOVES LOVES People Mover! Its a nice break to relax your feet too!

The People Mover is one of my absolute favorites!! And I have great memories of riding with my youngest when he was a baby.....letting him nap while DH and our oldest rode the Speedway. We ride at least a half dozen times each time we're at MK. I'd be so disappointed without that!

I'm wondering if all us People Mover lovers shouldn't keep it a little quieter though. Before we know it, everyone will love it and we'll be waiting in line!

We always ride it once during the day and then once at night. Great for taking a break from the heat or looking at Tomorrowland at night! Love!

We love it too! There's never a line, it's a nice long ride and gives you a chance to relax, and you can catch a great breeze on hot days! We usually do it more than once too. Why not, right?

I love it too!! SO thankful it is there - a nice way to take a break and enjoy the breezes. I wish every section of the Magic Kingdom had something similar to get off your feet and cool down! The parks can get crazy - everybody needs an opportunity to chill - may be that is something for the imagineers to add more of - some chill rides not just the thrill rides.

We took DGS for his first visit last September. He, of course, loved all the big attraction rides, but told his mom that one he really liked was "the relaxing ride"! He came up with the name by himself and now that is what we are all calling it!

As you'll soon find out from this thread, the TTA has a very large cult following here on the DIS and with other disney fans Likely due to high capacity and limited lines even during busy seasons, along with the nice breeze while riding and fantastic views/tour of Tommorrowland.

It's definately one of my favorite rides, and is always the first attraction I go on when I arrive at Disney World. I also probaly ride it more than any other attraction during my trips. It's a great spot to take a quick rest, like a park bench where the scenery changes for you

We love this attraction! On hot days when I need a break, I ride it twice in a row sometimes. It is a nice break and is never very crowded even though the surrounding area is usually a mob scene.

I love love love TTA!! It's a great break from the heat, and it's even better now that they've turned down the lights again in Space Mountain. My sis and I will often ride back to back to back. Twilight is our fav time to ride, just after all the nighttime lights go on in the park It's so relaxing!

It's become a tradition for my DS and I to ride this while we wait for DH on Space Mountain. He tells me every trip he looks forward to us riding this together Special times...
