The People Mover!

I like TTA; it's very relaxing and just a nice place to kick back with family after a day hitting the park!

It is the ONLY attraction that I visit EVERY time I go to MK. I never skip it. It's that perfect combination of movement and stillness with lots to see and hear, and it's never really the same ride twice. I could probably ride it all day - if they'd let me!

We took DGS for his first visit last September. He, of course, loved all the big attraction rides, but told his mom that one he really liked was "the relaxing ride"! He came up with the name by himself and now that is what we are all calling it!

LOL! I've called it "The Relaxing Ride" for years. It's one of our favorites. :)

I love the People Mover. It's a great way to relax in the middle of the day and the breeze you feel as it's moving along is so refreshing!

Going at night is my favorite, though, with the park lit up. It's the 1 ride I have to do in the MK.

We just returned from a fabulous week at Disney. One of our highlights was discovering the People Mover. I rode it as a child, but have ignored/forgotten it ever since.

My 3-year-old asked to go on and we were so pleasantly surprised by this ride! It goes faster than it appears to (especially in the corners) and it goes inside the back of Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear and other areas of Tomorrowland. My daughter enjoyed herself so much that we asked to stay on and go around again (which they allowed because there was no line).

This was a really great ride for our young daughter. She then talked her big sister into riding one night and it was even better in the dark.

This will be a new favourite. Who would have guessed:confused3

It's a favorite of ours! We especially like to ride it when we just need a break and a chance to sit down, kick of the shoes and relax for a while. Usually if it's not busy, the CM will let you ride multiple times without getting off.

One time were riding and when we went thru SM, the light were on. We rode again,a nd the lights were still on! It was very interesting to us to see that!

We love the People Mover! It's another one of our favorite things to do while we are at MK. It's just so pleasant and relaxing (great views, too!). We love when it suddenly picks up speed and the kids get the biggest kick when we go through the dark tunnels.

It's a great "chill out" attraction, too. Whenever someone's close to a Disney Meltdown, I always suggest a ride or two on the People Mover. It's also a nice break for getting off of your feet.

I'm wondering if all us People Mover lovers shouldn't keep it a little quieter though. Before we know it, everyone will love it and we'll be waiting in line!

You're right! I should go back and edit the title of the post to hide what we're talking about. ;) I think half the pleasure was being able to just walk on. We rode for half an hour (two trips in a row) and were able to chat and sightsee. My older daughter suddenly noticed everything else in Tomorrowland and then wanted to see Buzz, Monsters Inc and Stitch. She loved them (even Stitch).

We will be in the World in about a week. This will definitely be our first ride in the MK! Love!

I am a new convert to the People Mover too :yay: I just discovered it last year and now it is a must do several times each trip

Our family loves the TTA and COP, do both multiple times each trip........ Our last trip there was in 2009 and Space Mt and TTA were closed and we missed both....Did the "what you see inside" change at all when they redid space?
thanks Jill 85 days and counting

Love the WEDway Peoplemover  Especially because of all the history attached to it. If you have a chance, "Walt and the Promise of Progress City" is a great read and makes you appreciate the TTA and the monorail a lot more.

Glad you were able to rediscover this ride. Always has been a must do for us, especially at night.

We LOVE the Peoplemover. It's a great way to get off your feet and catch a breeze. It also has some great views. I love taking pictures up there! It's lovely when they have to stop it for a minute or two :-) I've been through when the lights are on in Space Mountain, as well! What a treat! We ride it as many times as possible when we visit :-)

This is one of my favorite rides from childhood and I still love it now! It's a must and I love that there is never much of a line.

My three kids all love The People Mover. They put their hands up in the air on the turns and giggle the whole way. On our last trip we rode it four times in one day because they kept begging us to go back on.

This is best place in all of the MK to relax IMO. We all love the People Mover here.

I enjoy this with or without my family.
Sometimes when the kids are riding Space Mountain for the 2nd or 3rd time I unwind and then treat myself to an ice cream!
I also enjoy riding this when my kids are on that awful Stitch attraction, can't stand it!
