The peace core

Has anyone ever been part of the peace core? I am thinking about joining after highschool obviously, thouight I still have a year to go. If so do you guys know any helpful hints or websites about the peace core? -thanks-

My brother loved it. He went to Uraguay for two years. He said it was hard at times. He got really sick for a while (i wont go into details) but he came out ok in the end. He got two trips home and we all went to see him at least once.

It is hard, but one of the most rewarding things he says he has ever done.

However, he did it after college, not high school. I think it would be a lot more of an adjustment if he had done it earlier.
