Y'all realise that you don't HAVE to book everything 180 days in advance?
You don't HAVE to eat at BOG to have a great vacation.
Also, Disney could change the ADR window to 30 or 60 days and you'd have the same issue getting an ADR, it's not the booking window, it's the crowds.

The only way my vacation will be ruined is if I do not get a hug from Kathy and Kevin.

I sincerely hope you aren't talking about all the podcasters. I go to the parks several times a week on my own time. WDW hasn't gotten old for me yet. I realize how fortunate I am that I can visit the parks whenever I want. I even went to Disneyland for my vacation. The few times I find fault with something I feel I should be able to say that. I think WDW is still a magical place to visit.

Kathy, you are the freaking best. Your never-ending love for Disney is intoxicating. Honest and passionate.

Change is a part of life. Maybe, one day, WDW will open a 5th gate that is Retro Kingdom that has all the legacy rides and attractions from the past. An homage to things that were. A museum of sorts...

(and no cell phones, Digital Cameras, or Magic Bands allowed at Retro Kingdom)

True - I like DD better - especially their new iced pistachio - that stuff is TRANSFORMATIVE!!!!

Definitely a Starbucks for this Seattle girl! Now, I don't like their drip coffee because I think it's bitter, but their Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha is the bomb!

Dunkin Donuts drip coffee is the only one we buy for home. I was the happiest girl on the planet when Costco finally started carrying their Kcups! We like the pumpkin ones in the fall, but that's the only flavored coffee we like - DD Original all the way!! #coffeenazi

I will say I don't really like Starbucks or DD hot.....much prefer them iced, and like I said - pistachio iced DD all the way! For hot, I was a happy girl when I found out Chock Full 'O Nuts makes Upper West Side (dark roast, same as their French roast) in k-cups,and I've converted MANY a coffee drinker onto this old-time name. Matter of fat, I joke, and call it "Chock Full 'o" Crack" - 'cause when I give 'em a sample, I KNOW they'll be back for MORE!! I should actually get free coffee from them for as many people as I've turned onto it! Don't know if I've ever had "real Kona", but I'd love to try it someday, since I love my coffee.

I don't understand the obsession with pumpkin over there?!! pumpkin is savory here. We make soup with it and roast it with a leg of lamb, or chargrill it for a salad... none of this "pie" business (pie's are also savoury here, unless they're apple.)
Plus I hate cinnamon, which I think is a large part of any of your sweet pumpkin dishes right?

You must get the french press at Kona Cafe on your next trip. It's about $8 and yields 4 cups, but the smell alone must be what a drug addict experiences.

That's funny, Jes, because I'm really not a huge fan of all things pumpkin either! I do like pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving and a friend insisted that I try the coffee from DD, but those are about it for me. People [including my hubs] are obsessed with the Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks and I hate it! I've never tried it in a savory way like you said! Hmmm.....

I guess we use pumpkin in both ways ... though I other squashes (butternut, acorn, etc.) get used more in roasting applications with lamb and other meats, etc. You do see a lot of pumpkin soups though which are savory

It really is "pumpkin spice" that is big here - even in other desserts a lot of cinnamon and other spices get used and the coffee flavors are usually pumpkin spice so if you don't like those spices they would be a big turn off

See, we call it butternut pumpkin, not squash, and it's really the only type I use for anything.

ah ok ... here a pumpkin is just a pumpkin and everything else is a type of squash and we (especially those that live in the north east) use a ton of winter squash and nearly always in a savory way

But what variety of pumpkin? Those big orange things you use for Jack-o-lanterns? They don't have enough flesh do they? (We have like 2 growers in all of Australia that grow what we call "Halloween pumpkins") otherwise there's grey/jarradale or jap, as well as butternut (I used to work for a large fruit and veg wholesaler, I know more about pumpkin and potato than most normal accountants)
