The One Day Trip: Has anyone else done this?

I've never done it, but it sounds fabulous!!!

YES! have totally done this... more than once. DH works for an airline so I fly free. It is standby though, so, not for the feint of heart..

I wake up at 4AM for my hour long ride to the airport, try to catch the 6:00(ish) flight. Am at MCO by around 9:00. Pick up a rental, drive 35 min to EPCOT (usually do the Flower and Garden or F&W). I start watching flights in the afternoon and if they look like they are starting to fill up, I skedaddle back to the airport. I get home, crash and sleep in on Sunday.

DD (12) joined me for one of my F&G trips and for the Avatar sneak preview but I am usually solo.

Parking at the airport $8
Rental Car @$20-30
