Most people do get along with my mum, she's a great lady! And Lord knows I certainly get my thought processes from her! The same things often pass through my minds....she just has a way of vocalizing them in the strangest ways! And I was also glad about the dollar when we booked the trip; it was right around par at that time...now however...

I moved home a couple of years ago (again!), thinking I would save money....but I didn't....I like to shop! But, with all the changes going on in our lives and with extra time, I figured it was time for me to move down to the basement of the house. The basement that hasn't been touched decorating wise since long before we moved in (and we've been here 15 years!). So I've been organizing and painting, and all that good stuff. I'm nearly finished too! See, my mum will likely move out into her boyfriend's house by the end of the year and I'll finish paying the taxes and utilities in the house (since the mortgage is done), until she decides she wants to sell it.

Wow! I'm gonna update! Can you belive it?! I know I am a rotten trip-reporter. This whole being unemployed thing has kept me very busy! Aunt Stacy has been busy running all over with family and then nearly killed herself painting the basement! But things are settling down again, at least for now! I have another job interview on Thursday so hopefully things will pick up again! In anycase, here is a long overdue update!

Alrighty, so Lauren and I are still kicking around DHS...
And we hear that Daisy and Minnie are doing photos together by the hat!! Our two favourite characters!! Together!! So we hightailed it on over to the hat!....just as they were taking a break. But the CM said that they would be back in about an hour and we should come back then! We were determined to get that photo, so we set off to kill an hour.

We decided we would head over towards ToT and RnR, but as we were headed down the street, we came across the beginnings of a Streetmosphere Actor's show! I LOVE these and always seem to find myself part of the show. I scored myself a stud named Leroy Small in 2007 during a stint on a dating show (here are some of those photos as we danced in the street!)

Oh my "Plaid Ninja"... I was determined to see him again!

And this year was to be no different! There was Rosie(the aspiring star working as a cleaning lady) sitting in the middle of the road telling Leroy Small (big Hollywood talent agent!) about how she was going to make us (the audience) all cry with her amazing acting. She was going to act out the story of Sleeping Beauty.

But she needed some other players to help her out! So I was cast as the evil wicked witch! I had to give my best evil voice (which sounded slight exorcist-like ) and say "I'm going to get you!"

And then, still being evil-exorcist-witch woman, say "I'm going to put a spell on you to put you to sleep!"

And so, Sleeping Beauty fell promptly to sleep! So she cast another man as her Prince to ride his steed (a mop) to her rescue and give her a big smooch!

And so Sleeping Beauty woke up! And her Prince and Leroy helped her up

And Sleeping Beauty and The Prince rode off on the mop - I mean horse, to live happily ever after

After Rosie completed her performance she came over and apologized to me! Saying I was "much too pretty and nice" to play the wicked witch! I asked if I could have a photo with her, and she obliged, she even fixed up her lipstick first! And she asked if I would like to borrow it for the picture! I politely declined...

She said it was more likely that she would play my wicked step-mother! And I said "No! But you could play my step-sister!" And she was very happy that I found her younger than she was! Leroy Smalls said I was very talented and offered me his business card.

He asked how Lauren and I knew each other and thought it was great that we had been friends since highschool! He also asked what we would be doing in Hollywood. I told him I had come there to become a star!
He asked where we were staying while in town and we told him we were thinking about the Hollywood Tower Hotel up the road. He said he hadn't heard great things about it! He posed for another photo with me and then we parted ways. He had to get off to some big meeting...Lauren just couldn't stop laughing! Despite what she might say I know she enjoys my antics!

We continued over to Tower of Terror and Rock N Roller Coaster! But first Lauren needed a potty break so I checked out the shopping at Sunset Club Couture:

I definately reccommend trying to fit in at least one little Streetmosphere skit! They are really underrated and hilarious!! And you're right, it's not often you see a sky that blue! However, it was super duper cold that day! Even for a Canadian!

Christine you should definately stop to watch one of their skits! And if you liked that show, there is more to come! Something about me must just call out them "pick her, she'll do pretty much anything!" I don't embarrass easy! I too am a sunworshipper! It was a gorgeous day but there was a maaaaajjjjjjoooorrr chill in the air that day! This was the night I put on gloves!
