The "Oh I Just Love It Here!" Trip Featuring "Besties!!!!" Nov.28 - Dec.2, 2008

These days, anybody that has a job should just be grateful, so I'm glad you have one and it is going well!

Do we get pictures of the basement as it is now?

Take a peek at the snow pictures declansdad put up on our report. It's pretty crazy!

Oh Lordy!! I saw his photos!! Thank Heavens our storm wasn't that bad! We have had a couple of ones that were pretty close this year! We've had record snowfall amounts this winter - and it's not over yet!!

And you're right, I am very very very very very grateful for my new job. It's fulltime, I enjoy it, the people are great and I now have something to do with myself! Plus it leaves me smelling great! :) I've seen how many resumes shes gotten since hiring and it's really sad. I really hope those in need find something.

I will try to put up pictures of the basement room. I'm not currently staying at home, and I don't have anymore room on my camera! I haven't finished getting my 3000+ Disney photos off of it and it wont load onto my computer! So I have to go and do a few at a time onto discs from walmart! I'll see what I can do though!

Hope all you are having a good week so far!:goodvibes

Hey Everyone! Sorry for yet another delay in the Trip Report! I was away from home for a week and started my new job and had my car stolen - things have been super hectic! But I am home and have the day off and so I bring you an update!:)

So, Lauren and I have been strolling around Epcot for awhile and it is now time for us to head over to World Showcase. Tonight's dinner is the Candlelight Processional package! We chose Tutto Italia as our restaurant! Before I even get started, I should not be writing this review with an empty belly! This was definately the best dinner of the trip!

We arrived at the restaurant about two minutes before our ADR time, after hot-footing it to Italy! We had gotten a little distracted while seeing Turtle Talk With Crush and were running a little late! However, when we arrived at the podium we seemed to be the only people around and we were seated immediately! Our waiter John Paul brought us some menus and explained the package incase we were unsure. He was a great waiter and checked on us often, and always made sure our drinks were full! Here are the menus:

I had really planned on ordering one of the drinks, but I was feeling pretty tired and didn't anything effecting my view of NPH later! ;) (yeah, yeah, I'm not his type, but he's still a handsome fella!), so I went with a regular coke...

After we ordered our meals, John Paul brought us the bread and we began munching away.

Lauren ordered the Cannelloni which she deemed very tasty and amazing!

049_49-1.jpg

I had the Farfalle (minus the proscutto and peas - so essentially farfalle with parmesan cream sauce!) - this was incredible!!! It was soooooo good! I know it seems very basic but it was so rich and creamy, and the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente! Here is what my dish looked like at the start:

and here is what my dish looked like in the end:

Both of us were so incredibly full, but dessert was on it's way! So we shifted around and pushed our entrees aside in our bellies to make some room! Lauren loves her some Tiramisu so she chose that, and I had the Profiterolles. Neither of us finished our dessert - but it was also very tasty indeed!

All in all, Tutto Italia definately scored super high in our books! At the end of our meal we were given our badges to wear for the Candlelight Processional. Both of us felt as though we needed to be rolled out of the restaurant! But we pulled ourselves up and headed back out into World Showcase

As we walked out of Tutto Italia, it was that beautiful twilight time and the light was just amazing. I had to take some photos!

We decided we would walk around a bit before heading into the line for the processional and headed over to check out the shops in Germany! This is what I wanted:

As we were leaving, the sky just looked gorgeous!

We walked back over toward Americaand got in the line. It was about an hour before the Processional was to begin so I passed the time taking pictures, while Lauren read the Holiday Programme aloud. The sunset this night was just beautiful!

And then I decided to try out the digital zoom on my new camera as it began to get darker.

And this one isn't the best, but it was very pretty to see in reality from across the water. But we were getting really really cold (like, Canadian cold!) and the line was beginning to move into the theatre for the show!

Stayed tuned for the Candlelight Processional with Neil Patrick Harris! Coming Soon!:thumbsup2

SIGH, how beautiful!

NPH, double SIGH

Tutto Ittalia looks really yummy!

Thanks Katie! I know....if only NPH liked the ladies....
Mum and I just came home from East Side Marios....not even close to as good as Tutto Italia! Big Ol' Sighs from me too!

So glad you liked Tutto. It is yummy, isn't it?? Your twilight pictures are gorgeous!! You got a lot of great shots! Looking forward to hearing about NPH!!!

We haven't had the opportunity to try Tutto Italia yet, but it looks delicious! I may have to add that to my ever growing list for 'next time'!

I love all of your photos, they look so pretty. Just what I needed to get me through my Friday morning at work!

I can't wait to hear about NPH. It's going to be great, I can just feel it!

Dinner looks amazing. Yumm! :thumbsup2
I love East Side Marios...Bada Bing...Bada Boom...:rotfl:

The sunset looks soo beautiful. So tranquil. Perfect. :cloud9:

I would give anything to be on a bench looking out on the water tonight instead of going to work.

Glad you are settling into your new job just fine. :)

That was my first try with Tutto Italia, I hadn't been back to eat in Italy since it was Alfredos (which was my previous favourite), and I was ready to judge it harshly! I was very pleasantly surprised! I definately reccommend it!

Well I hope you got through your Friday okay LL! Glad I could help to make your day a little better!:goodvibes

East Side Marios is good, but definately no Tutto Italia! I too wish I could be at Epcot tonight! But I suppose in my jammies with my laptop isn't so bad...If only they put on Illuminations and sold Grey Goose Slushies in my living room! And thanks for the encouragement on the job front! So far it's going really well and I think I'm gonna be pretty happy with this company! They seem to really care about their employees which is awesome!

That's what makes him a double sigh. One for being so cute and the second because I will never have him (Yeah, like if he were straight I could :rotfl2: )

Oh I'm sure you would charm his socks off! Perhaps we could lure him into our clutches with a cute little gnome?;) :rotfl:

I always love seeing World Showcase pictures! Hopefully, I'll be walking the streets of Italy two Fridays from now!

The food looks good! We've never eaten there. The puff pastries filled with vanilla bean gelato and covered in hot chocolate sauce - that would be my choice of desserts!

Stace! How did I miss this?! I didn't realize that you were there a few weeks before we were. That makes me feel better though that you're still updating your TR as am I (very slowly I might add) :thumbsup2

Jess!! I'm glad you've come by. I'm afraid I haven't kept up with your TR very well. Things have been hectic but I promise I will read it! I'm afraid I am usually very slow with the updates, especially now being back to work! I'm still only on December 2 and I was there through the 7th!

Hey everyone, it's time for the update everyone has been waiting for (sorry it's been over 2 weeks!)...the Candlelight Processional with narrator Neil Patrick Harris!:santa:

The Candlelight Processional is, in my opinion, a very beautiful and moving performance which tells the story of the first Christmas (the birth of Jesus). It features a celebrity narrator who tells the story, which is accompanied and emphasized by a large choir and an orchestra.

Now, when the original narrators where announced, Lauren and I had already chosen the date we preferred (December 2) and the celebrity declared for that date was "Patti Labelle - to be confirmed" We were both happy with that, as she is a legend....but it wasn't meant to be. Eventually her name was taken off the list and was replaced with "To Be Determined" Again, that was fine with us as we knew it would have to be someone, and it didn't really matter to either of us who the narrator was. But we hit the jackpot! It was finally announced a few months later that Dr. Howser himself, Neil Patrick Harris would be the narrator for our chosen evening!:woohoo: We were both very glad that we had already booked our CP dining package! Not only is he a handsome fella (though I am not his type!), but he is also genuinely talented! We were very much looking forward to the evening!

So, after our dinner at Tutto Italia and a little bit of wandering around, and waiting in line, we made our way into the theatre! We had a great spot, only a few rows from the front and we were slightly on the left side of the stage.

Now, I believe I mentioned that this night was super super cold! I mean, I'm Canadian and I am saying that Florida was cold! It was closer to what the weather would have been like at home! You could see your breath in the air!!! But, while we were in line, Lauren noticed that they were selling hot chocolate in the America pavillion just behind the theatre! Smarty-pants went and got us some! It was kind of nice though as the chill and the hot chocolate totally added to the Holiday atmosphere.

But enough chatty-chatty, here are my pictures of the performance!:

I was very moved by the whole Candlelight Processional performance! Besides having a fantastic narrator, the story was beautifully told and the musicians were all amazing! It really put me in the holiday spirit and brought a tear to my eye! It is definately something I would want to see again, and one of my favourite things of the Holiday season festivities at WDW! Neil Patrick Harris did a fantastic job (with his amazing theatre career I wasn't surprised!), and really put feeling into what he was saying. And for those of you hoping to see him in the future, he did speak about how he'd done the show in previous years, and how he hoped to do it again in the future!

Hope you're all enjoying your weekend, and thanks for reading!:goodvibes
