Hey Y'all,

So much going on here I can't keep up with all of it.

Lauren, Welcome back! You looked stunning!!! Everything else was great too, the cake was really pretty! The whole family looked wonderful, makes me all teary!

Becky, Your food always looks so great! You are really something with fish! Can you give me any tips how you did the tuna with the sesame seeds? I find it hard to keep them on the tuna.

Don't know what's for dinner. Mario is still finishing up a few little things, so I can't get in the kitchen yet.

Glynis, I've been there too. I was lucky (more blessed than luck) to have been able to have my only DD. I know this is so hard, sending lots of prayers your way. :flower3:

Have a good day friends!

Hugs to you, Glynis. I'm very sorry you are going through this.

Happy Anniversary, OKWMom!

Shovan, for the tuna, the seeds stick best if you coat the tuna with something kind of sticky. For the tuna the other day, I made a marinade of grated ginger, soy sauce, garlic, rice wine vinegar, and scallions. The marinade was kind of thick so the seeds stuck really well to the tuna. The other key is to sear it in a non-stick pan so you don't lose the crust.

Tonight I am making a vegetable stew of storts. It will have tomatoes, summer squash, zucchini, onions, basil, garlic, eggplant, etc. I think I am going to sear off some chicken sausages and add those too, along with some parmesean cheese. DH and I both seem to have come down with a cold so this should be nice and comforting.

Hey All,

I am still not caught up with all of you...maybe tonight!!! :)

Thank you for all your kind words about our wedding. I am really glad that I was able to share the planning and pictures with all of you. You're all great friends!

Tom just called and said "Hi Wife"...:)

Glynis - for you my dear. I am so sorry this happened. You do have the right attitude that this just wasn't meant to be this time. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason but I know it's hard to understand why. You will be in my prayers.

Thanks. I appreciate the prayers!

Glynis I am so sorry you are going through this.  My ex and I went through infertility problems. I didn't ovulate. We were blessed with Alex. God is mysterious. We are here if you need us. We seem to be good criers if that what you need or we can give you a laugh too.

That's been my problem, too. No ovulating. I have a condition called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Not fun!!!

I have done enough crying for a while. I think that laughing is in order! Actually, just being around you guys makes me feel "normal". Does that make sense? I just love coming here and reading about what you all do for your families for dinner, etc. Makes me feel connected to something bigger than myself.

Glynis - I'll continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I agree with Kathy, although we don't always understand God's purpose when things happen the way they do, He always has a plan. I'm sorry this is one of those things that is so hard to understand and accept. Hang in there, we will all be praying for you and thinking of you. :grouphug:

Kathy and Nancy - Thanks for the warm wishes today. It really is a happy anniversary for us. I am a very lucky woman.

Thanks. I agree that there's a plan. I'm just not the most patient person. But since I've no choice, I'll just have to wait to find out the plan. Thanks for being here!

Thanks. I know that I'm so blessed to have my kids! It's amazing how things turn out, isn't it?

You called for me my leige?!? The big plan is you need practice...lots and lots of practice...soo open up that Rosa and grab the chocolate- I know there's a babysitter out there somewhere in Utah! C'mon- I have Mormons in my family, don't make me go there!:rotfl2:

Really Hon, yell if you need us! We're all here and we all have different stories- but we're all very understanding and good listeners! You really have to wonder about a WFD thread where half of us forget to post what's for dinner!

Maybe if you pray for patience that's what you'll get....unless one of the ones you already have is a Patience- then it'd be Patience 2 and that's kinda weird- like George Foreman's family!:lmao: :lmao:

WARNING: VENT AHEAD

I had Rick call me this morning so I would be awake for Disney Dining to open this morning. (So NOT a morning person) Candlelight Processional was released today. All Rick wants for Christmas is Le Cellier and the Processional on Christmas Eve. I started dialing at 5 till. After finally getting through and being on hold for 45 min- Le Cellier is booked solid. Even the regular reservations. So, I got Coral Reef in the meantime and now I'll be calling everyday looking for cancellations. That's how much I think of my DH- so don't believe him when he says I treat him bad.

Ok hissy fit over, back to the food talk!:sad2:

You are a wonderful wife!!

Nancy - We'll be having a late dinner tonight. Kyle is at a game and Johnny is working. But if that pork roast tastes half as good as it smells we're in for a treat!

Tonight we are having pulled pork sandwiches and salad.

TheBeadPirateWow you are wonderful forgoing sleep to call for ADR's
Is Rick hitting the Taste of Chicago? Pretty yummy stuff. We could smell it while we were downtown friday. We went to Bob Chin's instead.

TigerKat I too was a little concerned. Considering this was coming from some one with a boa flung over a down in the kitchen

FormrCastMbr It's nice to know the honeymoon lives on.

Glynis I totally understand. It is nice sometimes to hear funny stories. Sometimes a good cry can be very freeing.
