The Official VILLAS at DISNEYLAND HOTEL (Discovery Tower) Owners and Fans Info Thread

I am trying to book a one bedroom for January and seems like theyre all gone... how are the deluxe studios and duo studios?

Is garden view the best view type? Any other tips? TIA 😃
Did you check the ADA rooms? The hearing accessible 1-bedroom has an awesome view. It's always nice to give ADA peeps a head start in booking but at some point (especially when it's super limited rooms like non-studios at this studio heavy property) - go for it.

I just emailed them and asked if that was available, fingers crossed, thanks!

Oh, you can just click the little check box and the online system will show you the accessible rooms, too. But if not available, I'd go for a deluxe studio unless you really need a kitchen. Disneyland is having their 70th anniversary, after all!

Last minute availability pops up but that’s hard to get via rental store. They focus hard on 11month booking
I waited too long grrr they have an availability tool, I see march but I want January... studio it is! I suppose it's better to start there than a 1 bedroom and never want to go back 🤣 heard I can get a nice little balcony with garden view

So sometimes they have live music at the pool? Is that pretty loud then?

At other times, do they have recorded music playing? Is it loud? I guess I should try to find some youtube videos or something.

I am very sensitive to certain kinds of sounds and live/loud music is definitely one of them. Especially if there's any bass.
Unless it has recently been cancelled, they occasionally have a DJ at the Palm Breeze Bar. It isn't loud enough that it should disturb you in the tower rooms, but my guess is you'd hear the DJ music in the garden rooms.

I'm a local and the DJ has been there in the evenings when we've gone, but it has been hit or miss. I'll try to make a point to go for drinks there sometime in the next couple weeks.

If loud music bothers you, I would definitely avoid the Tomorrowland dance parties in the evening as well. There is a Stitch themed party returning on May 23rd.

Just wanted to point out that it's not a garden view. They are called Garden Rooms because of Disneyland hotel nostalgia. There's no garden to view from the rooms. There was a thread about it a while ago in the Disneyland forum.

Oh wow that seems kind of misleading i def thought it would be a garden view 🤣 so what kind of view does it have or it varies? Good to know, thanks!

They're trying to match me up with an owner for a 1 bedroom for my dates because they actually are available 8 mos out, but that seems like it's going to be a hard sell 🤣🤣 I wonder if it will be easier to book as more rooms become avail

It's a two story building next to the new pool/splash pad. I think it's still an awesome view and the patio is large compared to the other patios on property. And, yes, the name is quite misleading which was a hot topic.
