NO! Not the werepanther story line again. That was so lame in the show, just having Jason tied up so he can be used to hump all the female werepanthers. I'm glad they killed that story line.

I wished they would have follwed the books with that story line. They did kind of ruin it.

My thought on the episode is that they are setting up some alternate couples for the sex scenes. Sookie may not be doing many of those this years, since the actress is pregnant. She still looked thin last night, but was pretty covered up.

Definitely a huge departure from the books.

I thought that too. Coming out of the shower would normally have been a perfect time for her to flash the girls. Instead, they made sure she had a towel on.

I don't think Jason will be turned. He's one of the few humans that Sookie has left that she is close to who isn't supernatural. Even Lafayette has special powers and now Tara has been turned and seems to have gone off the deep end, being more primal because half her brain is missing.

I don't mind so much the differences between the books and the show. I just look at as more!

I like some things they changed(Like Lafayette and Pam being a main charaters) and some things I don't like.

I would get bored very quickly if the show was exactly like the books.

I think that was why I was so bored with the Harry Potter movies. LOVED the books, but the movies were blah...I knew what was coming.

Anna & Stephen may have been talking for a while about having children together. I remember the first summer they were together there was some paparazzi shots of them vacationing with one of his children. So Anna was quite comfortable being part of a family back then with kids around.

OR, it could also be that she's gotten enough clout & power on the show to call some shots. Like her contract this season have have a no nudity clause - or very little nudity and possibly only with Stephen (if Sookie & Bill get back together this season.)

I remember back in the mid-90's when gratuitous naked shots became the norm for up & coming female stars, that Madeline Stowe, who was big back then, had said she couldn't wait to get famous enough to NOT have to do nude scenes anymore. That until her, Nicole Kidman & other female stars of that time, got famous enough to put it in their contracts NOT to do any nude scenes, that they'd be stripping off their clothes in order to get that level of roles.

I change my profile pic on FB every year for the seven days leading up to the premiere and I had that picture of Eric last year. A girl I went to H.S. with asked if it was my DH! So HARD to tell the truth.

Being someone who gawks at your fb profile picture for those seven days, I would have said... YES!!! lol

I read the books after seeing the first season. It made it better for me. I love to read and use my imagination but in this case to put Alex's face in my mind when reading about Eric made it REALLY good. lol.

I do that too...I just replace the hair braiding scenes and anything having to do with Eric having long hair(in the books) with something else!

You can imagine him with his long hair from the first season of TB, but he definitely is not as attractive with long hair (but I still wouldn't turn him away! )

Me neither. I know some people have his pic in their siggie or avatar, but while I liked him well enough on L&O:SVU, to me, everything else I've ever seen him in, he plays one note. When I heard he was going to be on True Blood, the first thing I thought was, "Oh, I hope he's not going to play his L&O character on TB." From what I've seen in the previews, I hope I will be pleasantly surprised.
