"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

Oh, and I agree that Jesus is probably bad news. Lafayette called him "Satan in a Sunday hat" so I think he knows there's something off about him, too.

I thought the same thing.

I am drawing a blank right now. During a conversation between Lafayette and Jesus that night, what was it that Jesus said Lafayette's mother accuses him of? And that it was ironic?

Jesus claimed to be a product of rape and said that it made Lafayette's mother's claims that Jesus rapes her all the more ironic.

I felt like we got a peek at the book version of Eric when he slapped his hand over Sookie's mouth and hustled her into the other room. :lmao: I'm learning to like True Blood Eric more but he doesn't have that mischieviousness and humor that book Eric does, IMO.

They have been doing a good job of giving Eric a humorous personality lately. When he called Lafayette RuPaul two weeks ago :rotfl2: In the first season he was quite boring but they are doing a good job of bringing him to life. I  Eric

No- the scalpel she cut her finger with (and sliced Bill's chest open with- yuck) was all metal. And, when vamps touch silver, it kinda "burns"- like the guard's face that Bill held against the silver doors last week. Looked to me like the torture instruments Lorena used were plain 'ol stainless steel- although they were shined up real pretty.. :lmao:

Yeah, but were they sterile? :rotfl2:

Yeah, but were they sterile? :rotfl2:

I seriously doubt it. Lorena didn't scrub in, glove or gown up, and wasn't wearing a mask. And the floor of the slave quarters definitely wasn't clean!! Bill could sue Russel and Lorena for torture malpractice. :rotfl:

I love the show, but I hate how it is NOTHING like the books. I mean they are so far from the books its crazy. I understand everything can't be the same, but still. Plus it bothers me that Alan Ball says Bill and Sookie are meant to be together.

The Lorena blood fountain was crazy.

Eric still had on his blue sweater which was quite nice!

Some things bother me about the differences but I just try to keep the show and the books separate.

Lorena's death was very cool and I appreciated watching Bill punch her across the room again in the postmortem!

Love Eric's sweater but his birthday suit is even better....

I watched the first episode of season 3 earlier tonight just to see him in his birthday suit ;) I think that's my favorite moment of the seasons so far ;)

Watching it again to see what I missed:

Sookie told Tara that a vampire isn't dead until they look like that sticky goo. So now Tara knows that Franklin isn't dead. :scared1:

Oh yea....Poor Tara!

Wow that was confusing. So what is Sookie and what did her cousin tell her?

Obviously I think it has something to do with daylight, right? That is what I got from it.

To me if a Vamp drains her they will be able to be a daywalker.

Now my knowledge of the supernatural creatures is large. It is intriguing me as to what Sookie is. OK, I looked it up and it appears she is a fairy. Interesting to see where her and Bill go. If she was smart she would kick his butt to the curb.

Oh and looky here who is being dispatched to help Sookie.

Yes Sookie is part fairy. Claudine is her fairy godmother sent to watch over her ( in the books )
and she does kick bill to the curb in the books, she finds out why he came to Bon Temp in the first place and they are done. Plus the Lorena thing. They are done at this point but we know they are not staying true to the books

So is the Magister dead? His head looked like it kind of went gooey. Or is this another Franklin thing, where if they aren't killed in the heart, they aren't dead?

I loved Sookie's fairy dress. I always love flowery embroidery & appliques with a touch of shimmer.

. Plus it bothers me that Alan Ball says Bill and Sookie are meant to be together.

If she stays with Bill, I think that will be the end of my interest in the show. There are some changes that should not be made.

I honestly feel the same way. Last season and the beginning of this season made me go, "okay Eric and Sookie could get together..." But now after watching more and reading the interviews with Alan Ball, its not looking like that will happen.

I understand everything can't be like the book, but he is changing a huge part and its what every book is based around from book 4 (maybe even book 3) on.

Are we up to that book yet? Remember, in True Blood, it's only been a few months. Even though it's 3 seasons for us.

Okay, I'm really ready for the Sam/Tommy plotline to be over.

I was thrilled that Claudine has shown up but I hope she shows up as a regular character who interacts with everyone and not just in Sookie's dreams. And what was the whole "Oh, the dark" thing? I mean, I realize that it was Bill but it was so far off from the book that I wonder where they're heading with this.

Oh, and who is the "authority" that the magister and Russell keep talking about?

Okay episode but not enough Eric. ;)
