"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

Who was it that pulled Barry into the room at the end? Right after Eric rushed out? Pam, maybe?

And what do you think the vamps are trying to do with Lafayette and selling V again?

Still loving Hoyt and Jessica. I loving poor ol' sap Andy. Glad he finally saw his pig!

I think they need more people for their vamp prison or I guess they can glamour people and use them or just to ferret out information for them.

I wondered about Barry too. I was trying to watch the camera angle. It looked like he turned around so it looked like it would have been someone across the hall from Eric??

My thoughts are: Bill or Lorena, Isabelle or (in spoiler white) someone from the king's entrourage since he ends up working for them in the book.

I don't really have any guesses about Eric/Lafayette/V but I was glad to see Lafayette have some spunk again!

I had first thought the Fellowship had taken Jason in and promoted him so quickly because they *knew* he was Sookie's brother (and hence, a connection to "her" vamps) -- guess I was wrong there.
I thought that too. That they knew he has a vampire loving sister. Then especially after he admitted he does.

Yes, apparently Godric heard her maybe? The plot thickens.popcorn::

This doesn't make sense. :upsidedow He couldn't have just been wandering down in the basement. He was supposedly locked up, too, down there, unable to escape. :scratchin

Plus, she was a screaming human. The vamps make it clear they don't think anything more about humans than if they are flies. Why would he redouble his efforts to escape to bother saving a human? Can the vamps tell when a human belongs to another vampire?

Barry accidentally let it out of the bag that he's a telepath. They have to have figured it out, since he was delivering a message from Sookie. I can't imagine they won't want to use him now the way they do Sookie for her telepathic abilities.

I'm also thinking they are using Lafayette to get to the customers. For one thing, he can't be their only source. so if the find the customers, they can find the other drug pushers who are draining other vamps.

OK here is my theory....

A vamp is going to "smell" the blood from another vamp in a human, right? And didn't Eric use his blood to heal Sookie? I can't remember.

Godric is an old vamp and they do tend to have stronger powers.

Maybe someone set him free?

Heck I don't know but I can't wait for next week.

But Sookie isn't just a human. She is a telepath (and in the books, she has a little of the supernatural in her...) and is important to Eric. I don't quite get why Godric was able to get to her when he's supposedly captured. Maybe he isn't really being held against his will??

Now that is a theory, eh? :thumbsup2 And anyway, I cannot see Godric being held against his will. He is old and probably very strong.

Anybody catch the name of the book Bill was reading in the scene with Lorena from their time in Los Angeles? I couldn't make it out.

Oh I love this show. I must have missed this thread for a year now. lol

I am curious as to what is going on with Eric because he has said repeatly how he wants Sookie but then he denied it to that lady vamp on Sunday. As for Godric, his showing up like he did was curious as well. It makes you wonder if the plot is much deeper than we all think. Is it really the vamps who want to start a war and they are using the Fellowship of the whatever the church is called to blame the war on? Either way something is up.

It's been several months since I read these series, but I think there is more to Godrick's story that we should be learning soon. I also don't remember him being Eric's creator. We'll see what happens though!

Godric wasn't Eric's creator in the book. There is a reason Godric was able to get to Sookie but if they follow the same story it would be a big spoiler so I'm keeping mum :). The previews and something Eric said make me wonder if they have a new story though.

:thumbsup2 My first reaction at seeing Godric was that he was too clean, fit and well fed to have been a prisoner. :scratchin If the Fellowship was holding him, wouldn't they have tried to keep him as weak as possible? If he was able to get out at night to feed without people finding out, he could be hanging out to infiltrate the fellowship for his own purposes, making them think they "caught" him and he couldn't get away.

I love all this speculating. :goodvibes

I just voted on this on polladium.com. Which one do you think is the best of the HBO series?

Sopranos

The Wire

Entourage

True Blood

Curb Your Enthusiasm

I just thought of something... I bet Sara hit Jason with one of those paintball guns, but thought she had a real gun. From what I've heard, at close range those things can really hurt.

I went paintballing recently and from LONG RANGE they hurt.:lmao:That is even with clothing on. Bare skin would leave a welt from long range.

I don't know if it was a paintball gun though. It didn't appear to be from the way he fell back and hit the ground.
Maybe it was a tranquilizer gun? That was my first thought.

Or maybe he is going to be healed by Godric?

Here's what bothers me, though I'm not dwelling on it much. In the books, the vamps are all but useless during the day, whether it's light tight or not. But Sookie and Bill are sitting in the bed in that vamp hotel during the day and she's so excited because it's the first time she's been able to be with him during the day.

Like a PP said, it's just the little things.

And as we saw Sunday night, they do have problems staying up during the day. SO is that a contradiction?

Wow! I didn't think Jason had it in him to kick butt. :thumbsup2

He's more than a pretty face. And he clearly is in good shape as one can tell from those tight tshirts ;)

Next week is not looking good for Daphne. :sad2:

I don't know if I missed something in the previews to which you are referring, but when you get stabbed in the heart, I'd say not looking good is a good assessment :lmao:

I see that the former director from the SYFY show "Eureka" has dropped in as a vamp. Cool. He is the tall dark haired guy with the beard.

You meant the director of Global Dynamics, not the director of the show, I assume.

I'd have to still vote for the Sopranos, but it's not fair to group the comedies and dramas together. How do you compare light fare like Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm to serious drama like the other three shows?
