I haven't read the books either. I've learned to skim & skip those posts about about the books - unless there's just some juicy detail I just gotta know.
One time, I said please don't post book spoilers unless they do the white out/font color thingie, and this thread completely died out for a while.
I felt so bad.
Of course it was about a
death spoiler and it was the last episode of the season. I've learned, I'd rather people post book spoilers and I just skip over them than have this thread die out as no one knows what to post.
Besides, Lafayette lived in the show anyways.
I also think the producers are keeping the Sookie/Bill story line going, probably because the two actors are hot & heavy in real life right now. They are probably milking that extra chemistry.
If their romance goes the way of most Hollywood romances, there will be time enough when the two may sizzle, or even get in breakup and not stand to touch each other, aka Jennifer Garner/Michael Vartan.
Also, Frisco & Felicia on
General Hospital. The actress playing Felicia wouldn't show up on set the next few days to do a scene after she broke up with the actor (Jack Wagner,) playing Frisco.
I heard the writers had to do a quick change in the story line.
There probably will be time enough for a Sookie/Eric storyline if this series stays around for several seasons, and the actors' real life romance has cooled.
Right now they don't seem to show his interest in her that way. Not that I want it to end with Bill of course. I liked last years shows better but these are still good, I hope they move it along a little tho.
