"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

Little slow for me until the last scene. Can not wait till next week. Wasn't Sookies grandma telling her not to be with Eric when channeling through Marni?

Yes that was Gran...and I agree, a slow episode..

- Eric and Sookie.....FINALLY!

- Bill....needs to go away...

- I admit...I LOL at the Jason dream scene...

- Poor Pam..

- Tommy killed his parents...doesnt that mean he can now shift into human form...like that story from a couple episodes ago?

- Who was that guy claiming to be pack master? What happened to Cl Flood?

I'm liking this new season so far. It's not perfect but I think it can lead to some really interesting places (hopefully!). I'm glad and hope it doesn't stay along the book storyline bc many of characters are not as rich and complex as in the show as another mentioned above or play really small parts.

Can we have a separate thread for True Blood voyeurs? :rotfl:

I didn't realize it, but my daughter pointed out that the actress playing Marnie, plays Harry Potter's Aunt Petunia in the movies.

Also, Eric's dad is Bootstrap Bill in the POC movies!

Alcide lived in Jackson, Mississippi- Col. Flood was Packmaster there. He moved to Shreveport some time in the year Sookie was gone in Fairyland. He said he got a great job building a new subdivision (I think it's where his new house is) and he moved to be close to the job. I guess Debbie (yuck!) moved with him from Jackson. Looks like he never checked in with the Packmaster in Shreveport- not a smart move if you're a were.

Col Flood was packmaster of Shreveport....This is from the wikipedia.

Colonel Flood is a full-blooded werewolf and packmaster of Shreveport. He is a retired Air Force colonel, formerly stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, Louisiana. He is first introduced in the fourth novel, Dead to the World and is depicted as having thick, white hair cut very short with a mustache that must have been trimmed with a ruler because it was so exact.[19] Colonel Flood dies in a car accident in the fifth book, Dead as a Doornail. In True Blood, he is played by Grainger Hines.

I assume they are going to use him at some point...based on the final line...

BEST EPISODE EVER! :worship:

 :lovestruc

Mmmmmm naked Eric (ASkars)!

The whole Jesus/Lafayette/Grandpa storyline freaks me out.

I wonder how long it'll take Same to figure out Tommy can shift into people.

I could be content staring at Eric's naked butt for an entire episode.

Decent episode...

- Sookie and Eric....nuff said!

- Saw the Tommy/Sam thing a mile away!...I called it last week even!

- The baby sees ghosts huh...not to far fetched...

- The shaman story line...ugh

- Poor Tara, can't catch a break.

- So Bill does have a heart...

- Screwed up the lore about the were's...BOO!!!

Last nights show was amazing! Eric & Sookie :D I'm in heaven! I was a little surprised that they didn't have Jason turn into a werepanter since it's in the books a lot (but at the same time they kind of screwed up the fairies & they are big characters in a lot of the books).

I hate the shaman story line.. And am I the only one who wants Tommy to die? I can't stand that plot line either.

I'm actually interested in Arlene's baby plot line now. Who was the freaking ghost lady? What does she want? Why is she here? Did the baby see her because of the doll? Or did he see her because of who his bio-daddy is?

I told my DH last night that I do not see the passion between Eric and sookie like I did with her and bill. Their real life passion came accross in their tv roles. I am disappointed because I do not see it with Eric and sookie, to me her acting is "noticeable". But I still love the naked Eric!!!

Sookie and Eric!!!

I am also disappointed in the shaman storyline. In fact, I wish they'd totally delete both Lafayette and Tara (although I used to love both those characters) from the show. To me, those storylines are nothing more than time I can use to run to the bathroom :rotfl:

I may be in the minority, but I really like Tommy.

I really wish that Jessica had more air time as well.

In the books, yes. Not on the show. On the show, he was in Mississippi, where Alcide lived. Alcide moved to Shreveport, and there is a different Packmaster there. In last night's show, the new guy even mentioned what happened with "your packmaster back in Mississippi- letting a vampire overrun his wolves, get them hooked on blood".

I am sooo ready for them to kill off Tommy. Useless character.

Things may just start happening in witchy land now.

And sooo happy that Eric and Sookie are finally together! Now bring on that shower scene! :cloud9:

Shows how much of last season was a blur to me...I wasnt overly thrilled with that season anyway...Thanks for the correction..

I would have liked to have a little more "will they or won't they" time elapse with Sookie and Eric. Bill letting him go that quickly was surprising, but I think he sees how Eric isn't "Eric" now -- it'll be a big surprise when he comes back to himself. :thumbsup2

I'm hoping Pam gets saved before she totally falls off the bone. Ewwww ....

I also would have liked to have seen Jason do a partial were-panther turn, and you know, it may still happen.

Now bring on that shower scene! :cloud9:

You gals have been mentioning this infamous shower scene for 4 seasons. When you first talked about it, the way "old Eric" was, I thought there was no way Sookie would get into a shower with Eric, no matter how much blood of his she drank.

Now, I'm waiting for this infamous shower scene!

No problem- the differences between the books and the series can be confusing and/or irritating. I find I have to treat them as 2 totally different animals. I like Book Sookie- Series Sookie, not so much. Other characters in the books are not as great, but are terrific in the series. And the storylines are so different- a small kernel of "sameness", but the series goes off on such tangents. Not a bad thing, but very different from the books.

I agree with this, especially that Series-Sookie doesn't hold a candle to Book-Sookie. I hated the casting of Sookie from the get-go!
