"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

I'm still not liking this season but I keep watching every episode in the hopes that I'll stop rolling my eyes.

I hate Bill as the King of Louisiana. But even more than that, I hate the King of Louisiana as a sort of easily cowed middle manager.

My wife and I said something like this last night while watching. The writing has clearly changed from previous seasons.

I totally agree..i'm really not happy with this season. I keep finding myself wondering why i am watching this stupid soap opera (not to mention waiting for it each week). OK the Eric/ Alcide pond scene was very, very nice..lol and i LOVE the Sookie/Eric storyline, he is just so cute..lol. Thats pretty much it.Bill as king still annoys me, but i am happy he folund out about Portia. Arlene's baby writing on the wall..i actually laughed out loud, that was really stupid.
Book 4 was my favorite (for obvious reasons), and i know that they have not followed the books at all, but i was really hoping for this season to be good :( I will still watch, and wait impatiently for Sunday night, but im just upset with the way its going.

I am actually loving this season. Compared to season 1 or 2, it's not *quite* as campy. I chortled (yes, I CHORTLED) when the Bellefleur family Bible was brought out. I'm glad they kept that little piece from the books in. Guess Bill does have some values after all.

What a treat to see Alcide and Eric last night at the pond. :thumbsup2

I'm thinking Alexander S. could be up for an Emmy this year -- his portrayal of Amnesiac Eric compared to Ruthless Eric is quite a compelling acting job.

Wow what a episode! I love this Eric. I hate Debbie Pelt.. Enough said on that.. I'm glad that Jason is out of Hot Shot now can we close that set down? I'm so over Tommy and his crazy mom/step dad. That's another story line I would like to be done with.

I LOVE Eric right now. When he was in the water it was so sweet and I almost cried when he was going on about how that would never happen again.

I like the books and the show equally...for different reasons.

You have to think...if they followed the books to a T, it would be all about Sookie, since the books are from her perspective. Which is fine for a book series, but it woud get boring in a show.

My thoughts...

- Alcide and Eric at the lake....AWESOME...And seeing Alcide almost naked....:lovestruc Eric too!!!

- HotShot...meh....glad the boyfriend is dead...poor Jason...wonder what will happen now that he has had vamp blood too...

- Bill...seriously...enough...

- Sam with the little girl was so cute...but his brother...ENOUGH...

- Possessed baby...REALLY? But that is one cute baby!

- Poor Pam...

Although that was funy, i was pissed..Claudine plays a pretty big part later on in the books...i guess not on TB :( But Calvis Norris also had a lot to do with the story in the books too :(

The part with the scary doll was kind of funny...even though i think that storyline with Arlene and the baby is so stupid, the look on their faces when the baby was chopping on the doll's head was funny.
I agree, I thought killing Claudine was not good. but then again the show is NOT the books.
they are straying way farther from the books this season.

:lovestruc  Mostly naked Eric and some Alcide buttcrack! ;)

I really love this Eric. He's just so freaking cute! I loved when he kept pinching her butt!

Still hate the Hotshot storyline.

Arlene, Terry and the possessed baby are just freaking creepy.

Pam's face melting/decaying was interesting.

I'm glad they kept the storyline about Bill being related to the Bellefleurs. He had sex with his great great great granddaughter. :lmao:

hate the Hotshot storyline, and crystal, when oh when does she get killed off? soon I hope, but then again they are not following the books.

alcide. oh my. that is all I can say :lovestruc

I am still undecided if I like this season or not.
it is not what I expected from the books, and not sure yet. some of it is good, but most of it, honestly is not.
imo

I'm still up in the air about this season also. I like the Eric and Alcide parts, but hate the Hotshot and demon baby parts. Some of the added stories are just too much like a bad soap opera to me.

I don't mind Hot shot, but the demon baby and Sam's kid brother problems are another thing. I'm so over both of them. And if Eric doesn't get buck nekkid and get horizontal with Sookie soon I'm going to lose my mind.

I'm really glad they didn't have the underage thing happen with Jason. My stomach turned when she walked in. So happy Felton is dead!

Eric was awesome :)

just got to watch this last episode...

I agree with everyone about Arlene's baby....so dumb.

I like Sam's storyline but the Tommy thing is getting old....we all knew that was a trap one way or another...not really an unexpected plot twist.

For a second there, I really thought Alcide was gonna completely strip...I could NOT stop staring!

I like the Bill as king storyline and I'm so glad they finally brought up the relationship between him and the Bellefleurs! Did anyone else notice that they changed the last name though to Harris instead Holliday? And BTW - did anyone else catch Sookie reading a Charlaine Harris book in last week's episode? :thumbsup2

And of course, the best for last....I could just watch an entire season based on Eric and Sookie. If we could stop wasting time on Tommy and Arlene's baby, Sookie and Eric could actually get it on sometime soon! Hopefully in a way that is faithful to the book!!!

Yay for an Eric/Sookie kiss! Next week looks like we get some partial naked time! :yay:

It was nice to have no Hotshot this episode.

I still hate Bill.

This episode was gross (Pam's rotting face, Jesus killing the goat)!

Can we have a separate thread for True Blood voyeurs? :rotfl:

I didn't realize it, but my daughter pointed out that the actress playing Marnie, plays Harry Potter's Aunt Petunia in the movies.

Looks like Marnie is this season's "Maryann." I hope this storyline doesn't turn out as lame as that Maenad storyline turned out to be.

I agree with you.

I do have to say that this episode offered the best cheesy line EVER: "Rene, keep your ghost hands off'a my baby!" :lmao: Freakin' hilarious. And Portia is now a defender of incest?

Little slow for me until the last scene. Can not wait till next week. Wasn't Sookies grandma telling her not to be with Eric when channeling through Marni?

I agree with you.

I do have to say that this episode offered the best cheesy line EVER: "Rene, keep your ghost hands off'a my baby!" :lmao: Freakin' hilarious. And Portia is now a defender of incest?

Yeah! I was really bothered by that. Thankfully Bill glamoured her!
