I got a call from the entertainment recruiter today saying that I did wonderfully in my audition, and that I am going next semester! Legs Ariel, and I get to learn the 5'7" fur (Pluto height)

I am SO excited. My application got tied up somewhere, so thats why it took so long. She said I get my packet in a week or two.

So... yay! Good luck everyone else!!!

Oh, and anyone who is going to be a CPer next semester- let me know.

I just had my interview today. I think it went pretty well although it was really short which I hope isnt a bad thing. I was just wondering if anyone has heard back quicker than the two weeks the say it takes to get an answer. I don't want to wait two weeks to find out lol.

Well I just got home from the audtions today. Needless to say I smiled a lot and felt silly doing the acting part, but I think I bombed the dance a bit. The whole thing (since I had a 3 hour drive home to think about it) was kinda a let down for me. I went in feeling good and everything. But it seemed kinda like it was thanks for coming and we're done. It started at 4p and the WDW people were outta there by 5:30. Everyone just got the papers and thanked for coming. It seems to me kinda like they gave all the spots away in the first half of the auditions and now it's just for the pool. Has anyone ever come out of the pool? This is the feeling I hate after auditions! I dunno I hope to hear something soon. I don't think it will be a happy bday for me after all....

Miss Spooky, sorry to hear that but make sure you keep your head up! I thought that I completely bombed my dance audition as well, but I received a phone call two days ago saying that I was eligible to play Jasmine at the park for Spring 06'! The sad news is...I had a family issue recently...and I can't go anymore I'm completely bummed...but the moral of the story is..I thought I did terrible, but turns out, I made chipmunk height and Jasmine! So it's never a set decision, and they could change their mind at any moment.

Yeah, I did just the mime and the dance...I was in the first group of four girls because they told us they were considering us for face. I didn't think I got anything because I wasn't called for wig/cosmetology..however, she looked at me for AWHILE and I don't know how it happened but they ended up offering me Jasmine. So that's why i keep thinking anything is possible lol I was so sure that I bombed it. But I guess you dont have to dance to be a Jasmine! I'm so sad I can't go..they "encourage me to re-enter" in the Spring since I told my recruiter I couldn't pull through.

Soo my dream came true, and I can't even take it !
I hope your dreams come true though!

Thanks! They didn't even mention considering anyone for anything specific. I figure they must do this a lot though and are able to know what they're looking for. I hope if you re-apply you can get the same opportunity! My sister has been comparing me to princesses but I don't wanna get my hopes up just to not get anything. Great pics!

I got my acceptance letter today for Spring Advantage 07! It only took 9 days. I got accepted for Merchandise. I really want to do it but at the same time I'm not sure if it's the right time. I have to decide soon!

Well I got the dreaded e-mail that I didn't want to get. I was not selected as a character performer but I am being invited to do something else in the program. My letter should be coming soon. I'm just so bummed out now. I would have loved to at least make the character pool. I wish I knew what I need to change to get it. I just hooe it wasn't the fact that it was the last stop on the auditions tour or my height. I hope there's another chance to try again when I get down there. I hope I get a high spiel role now. I promised myself I wouldn't cry over this also. I just hope I can keep that at least. I feel like I disappointed myself.

Thanks. I'm still being invited to come down for "another line of business" so I'm just waiting for my packet to come in the mail. From what I've heard I can take another crack at it. Also that there are all sorts of auditions while down there. But I think if I get any of those that I won't be CP. I'm a little confused on that. But I just hope I can try again.

Unfortunately those auditions are for people who are already characters. The only audition you could do would be the one at the end of the CP.
