The Official Spring 2007 CP

I got my packet almost exactly two weeks after my interview, I think it was 13 days later. So you'll probably have it tomorrow or Monday!

Yay for you! Did you have housekeeping as one of your choices or did they just stick you in that before you called to change it? I'm afraid waiting for an audition that they are going to stick me in something that isn't one of my other choices if I don't get entertainment.

I did have it marked as one of my choices, but pretty much because I didn't want it to look like I was only interested in 1 or 2 jobs, and be rejected for that reason. But I read up more on it after getting accepted, and I didn't like what other people said about it, so I managed to get moved. I'm pretty sure if you don't have it marked at all, they wouldn't put you there.

Who did you talk to get it switched, and how hard was it?

The wife and I got our packets exactly two weeks after our presentation/interview.

So how long did it take from when you interviewed to get your packet?

Congradulations!!!

I still haven't heard anything- its been 12 days since my audition and 11 since my interview. I'm preeeeeeeeeetty frustrated. I'm still super excited. I think thats prolly a good thing. There so much to do!

Well that's a good thing right? That means you must have done well. I found out 5 days after my audition that I didn't get performer. :guilty:

We got info sheets with phone numbers of the recruiter and all the campus reps. I just called my recruiter, who put me in touch with someone else who could change it. It wasn't too hard, but she seemed very annoyed with me. And she said merchandise was the only option left if I wanted it, which was good, because that was my first choice.

Did you get the info sheet with your packet? I don't have a champus rep so I was just wondering if everyone gets a sheet with all that good stuff.

Now I'm going to say something, and I am not trying to be mean or anything. But if there is a role that you may remotely not want to do, do not pick it. Don't put down anything you would not want to do, even to make more choices. Because you would wind up unhappy if given a role you do not want.

Hi,
Firstly here is some introduction: I'm called Alice by my college friends. I come from Vietnam but now I'm working on my study in Holland. The cooler thing is I will be in Orlando next Feb for WDW international college program.
I've got quick service food and beverage role. Is there anybody here did the same thing?

That is the reason I made so few choices on my app and went over it with questions with my interviewer. He told me I was good to do that. I can't complain since I choose after talking it out with him. It also makes me nervous because I didn't choose too much but he said that it was OK. How often do they give someone something they didn't check off as willing to do? Should I be worried?

Wow so you've gotten to travel quite a bit of the world! I'm not doing it but I have seen quite a bit of people doing the quick service on the net. I'm sure there are some here and there. Hope you have fun!

I don't think so. For both CPs I only checked off 3 roles. First one was character attendant, ops, and merch (got merch). And for this CP was performer, attendant, and ops (got attendant).

Yeahhh, there are a lot of traveling actually (and cost a lot of money, too). But I believe I will make it fun anyway. Cheers.

I got a call from the entertainment recruiter today saying that I did wonderfully in my audition, and that I am going next semester! Legs Ariel, and I get to learn the 5'7" fur (Pluto height)

I am SO excited. My application got tied up somewhere, so thats why it took so long. She said I get my packet in a week or two.

So... yay! :woohoo: Good luck everyone else!!!

Oh, and anyone who is going to be a CPer next semester- let me know.

Ohhh! That's awsome! MAJOR congrats to you. Are you doing just Spring, or Spring Advantage? If you are doing SA, I may see you because I am hoping to do the summer alumni program. Again, congrats!

Wolfpack in the house!! We're slowly taking over entertainment, one face character at a time.

I figured out who you are, teh fish!

Ah ha!

How does this business work at state? Do I have to go through the co-op office? Did you get credit for any of the classes? Could you keep full time status?

Really, any school specific info you could give me would be amazing. You can PM it to me, if thats easier. I have no idea even where to begin on all of these details.
