3 weeks from now I'll be pretending to work, probably hurriedly throwing stuff in bags because I procrastinated and left a bunch of stuff til the last minute, while we wait to leave for the airport.

DH and I ordered our customized magicband decals last night, and I ordered a couple more shirts I wanted from an Etsy seller, so I'm feeling much more at peace with how things are shaping up. DH is itching to get packing, but I told him we have to wait until September. So, I'm guessing that's his plan for Labor Day weekend.

12 days!! I have officially started packing I need to get just a few last minute things and then I will be good to go! I deposited the Disney Fund in to the bank, got my hair done, and bought the highest SPF sunblock I could find (because my heritage is Irish/Scottish/British...God did not want me to be tan lol)

And Disney will be especially happy trip because I just got some good news...I got a promotion at work! I get to stay in the department that I am currently in (and love), keep my summers off, and will get a pay raise! I am thrilled...nervous because there will be a lot of new stuff to learn, but so happy that this happened

Congrats on the promotion!! Now, you can celebrate it while you're at Disney! We have 7 days and I haven't done any packing. Probably will this weekend once I figure out which matching shirts we're wearing which day. Getting my hair done Saturday! I'm with you on not being tan. Anytime I walk outside, I feel like my legs are transparent.

16 days out and I've come up with a health issue that could end up being problematic for my Disney trip... here's to hoping this resolves itself quickly, so I don't have to cancel.

I have been hanging out too long on the MNSSHP boards that I haven't been following along here! I'm 23 sleeps away (Sept 15-22) and am so excited! I have made a few different packing lists.. one hand written, one on the computer, one on my phone.. I just can't bring myself to actually START packing yet! This will be my first and probably only year as an AP so I'm hoping all the hopping will get me eligible for the cutting board - I think I can just barely get in my 4 visits to Epcot based on our plans!

What "special" things is everyone doing on their September trips? Debating the Frozen Ever After Dessert party or something similar. No interest in any of the F&W events beyond sampling the booths. I like to have one "extra" thing per trip, but haven't landed on anything for this trip!

We're doing MNSSHP for the first time on 09/18 and DAH (first time for everyone except me) on 09/20! We are also going to The Void at Disney Springs!

I feel ya on the transparent legs problem lol. I always feel like I should warn people to not look directly at them because of how blindingly white they are.

I'm right there with you both! I've been using this Jergens tanning lotion that you can use in the shower. I'll still be super pale though compared to most people but hopefully I won't blind anyone!

I was unable to swim due to surgery all summer. I usually don't get out in the sun much anyway because my mom died of melanoma, so I know I will blind folks. LOL
