I can't wait, my kids are gonna love the new GOT terminals. :thumbsup2 You basically order your own food using a touch screen. I think, anyway. Tomorrow, tomorrow!!!!!! I'm hoping for a SOFT opening Tomorrow. :dance3:

Those type of terminals definitely would make it fun for kids. Nice touch!

I believe they are like the terminals at movie theaters that allow you to buy/pick up movie tickets -- touch screens that give the user options on what they want to select and move the user through the order process.

Have any of those who have stayed in the last year used the Neverland Club? I understand it is $10 per hour. Can you give me some info as to times and what the kids actually get to do?

Thanks,

Maz

I have ADR at 8:05 for the Crystal Palce on 12/2 (parade taping day). What time should I be at the monorail? Thanks!

We are going for our FIRST trip to WDW in May and staying GVC at the Poly. Last night I sent a note introducing myself to the concierge and today I got the nicest reply. We are going to finalize our ADR plans and the concierge is going to help book them. CRT too so perhaps I won't have to set the alarm for 4:30am AZ time.

As you can tell from my count, I do not post much but I was so excited that I just had to post to my "Poly friends".

And Steve/Tikiman...Your work is erasing the bad image the Brady Bunch gave to the words: Tiki and Idol. It doesn't seem like enough to say but...thank you for all you do and all you have done.

David

Arrived around 11am this morning after driving all night!! Ouch!!!

I got all my requests 3rd floor Samoa facing the quiet pool, we did have to wait for it but it was 1pm when we got in. Still well below checkin time.

CM greetings were wonderful at registration. Absolutely top notch service with very knowledgeable(sp?) CM's. She gave me my choice of available rooms, but I decided to wait for Samoa.

Capt. Cooks is still on slate for Monday the 20th. It looks really nice in there.

Had grilled chicken ceasar salads at Capt. Cooks (Very good).

Girls played on the beach and I have sat on my balcony all afternoon.

Pure Bliss.

We are going for dinner at Kona and then I am passing out!!!

If anyone has any questions ask away, I will try to answer before bed.

Ditto. Thanks Steve.

PolyAddict,

Thanks for taking the time to post that info. Do you know if the Tahiti longhouse is open yet? We will be arriving on Nov 27 and were hoping for Tahiti.

Thanks! :)

Yes, Tahiti is open, the front desk CM tried to give me a garden view room there.

Would the Tahiti room she offered have been better than your Somoan room?

We have request third floor samoa on a friends recommendation and now I am wondering if we may miss out on a better random room.

Thanks PolyAddict! :)

MickeyMaz,
Most would prefer Samoa since it is so close to the quiet pool and much closer to GCH. Since we like it quiet (Tahiti sits farthest from the GCH), Tahiti is for us. We just have a longer walk to pools and GCH.

Tahiti is great if want to be out of the action. It is very quiet over there.

Does the Polynesian have free internet connection in each of the rooms? Is it wireless?

It's 9.95 for a 24 hr period (same as all disney resorts that have it) and it's not wireless, although some have found ways to be wirelress (see a previous post). They call it high speed but i found it to be quite slow.

I am interested in a particular longhouse, how long before we arrive should I contact CRO about our wish for this particular long house?
